I have the MIB for communication manager,is there a way to get a stations data from the PBX?
If you open the mib you see the following
g3station
->g3stationEntry
-->g3stationExtension
-->g3stationType
-->g3stationName
etc......
g3stationExtension has a lock symbol beside it if you use a MIB...
My apologies about the three other issues. They are in fact all seperate. I had resolved the first two and this 3rd one was another, seperate issue.

Whenever I go to get ODBC to use name pipes it won't work, when I get it to use TCP/IP no problem.
I have check the name pipe on my server and it is the same as the client
I am having an issue with connecting to an sql server using its computer name but, it works with IP

Yes the SQL Server is pingable from DOS in both IP and name.

Really there isn't much you can do. The Definity and Meridan are like night and day.
I am not sure if you have used definitey before. If you haven't be prepared for a much easier time administering it and a more powerful system.

There is no need to insert pauses in an abbr dial string.
Do a list trace stat #### (#### is a extension)
This will show you what ds1 the call is going out and exactly what the switch dialed. It will also show you what path the switch took through ARS to complete the call.
