I have a user that is having exactly the same problems. If I find a solution, I will post it, and I'll be keeping an eye on this to see if anyone else finds the answer.
Thanks, all
Yesterday, I installed Act for a user who will be travelling with his laptop. I then set up a database to database synchronization so that the user could use Act while offline.
I am new to Act, so I have a couple of questions. The most important one - how long should that synchronization...
I found this on ZD Net (http://www.zdnet.com/products/stories/reviews/0,4161,2231297-3,00.html)
Un-branding IE5
If you want to remove the third party branding from your IE5 download, here's some tips on how to do it.

Vince0000,
At this point, it looks to me like there are two pertinent issues. The first is that you want a client for all of outlooks features, not just email. The second is that you need the client to run on Windows. I have been looking for something like that for a long time.
The only...
Jesuspower1,
Thanks for the input - the fact that there are browsers with builtin email support is something I always overlook. Both Mozilla and Opera have email and newsgroup clients built in. If Vince0000's scheduling requirements aren't to heavy, then using the Outlook Web Access support...
I'm running Panda. I have had no issues with the software. I did have a go-around with one of their tech support people, but that's another story.

I haven't really used...
The quick way I did this ...
click the select all button (or press control A to select all).
Click "Format" on the menu bar.
Select "Conditional Formatting".
What you want it to say is "Cell Value is" "equal to" "TEST" -> then click the format...
JerseyBoy,
I have reread all of the posts, and I think there's a different way to get what you want. I don't have access to a '98 machine, or one with dialup, so I'm going from memory here.
If you click the start button and select control panel, there is a setting called something like...
MO22,
what xlhelp is talking about works like this ... if Al and Bob both have the spreadsheet open and make their changes, one of them will save the file first. If Al finishes and saves his info, and /then/ Bob saves his, the version of the file Bob is saving doesn't have the changes Al made...
I asked which version of windows because I had a similar problem, but it's one specific to win 2k advanced server. I'll keep an eye on the thread here and see if you figured it out.
