thanks. I ran admodify again and changed the Display name. My initial process of admodify changed the RDN and I didnt know I needed to change anything else.

I did the ADmodify and the ASedit and modified active directory. Although it looks fine in AD Users the address list when I open Outlook 2003 still sorts by First Name then last name.

our mail server cannot send mail to a specific domain. mail gets stuck in the outbound queue. even viewer says we dont have a PTR record but dnsstuff says we do.
the ODD thing is that i can TELNET on port 25 and deliver mail that way. Doesnt that prove that rdns etc is setup ok?

I have setup 2 domain controllers across a wireless link. they are both in the same domain. my intent is that if the wireless link goes down users can still authenticate etc.

Well basically I have 5 buildings tied together via a wireless network. since it is only 10mb I dont want broadcast traffic to congest the wireless side.
