How to Sort GAL on Exchange 2003 by Lastname

I did the ADmodify and the ASedit and modified active directory. Although it looks fine in AD Users the address list when I open Outlook 2003 still sorts by First Name then last name.

What do I need to do to make this work?

Try changing the display name on your user accounts.

can i use admodify or asedit to do that? i hate to manually change all of them.

thanks. I ran admodify again and changed the Display name. My initial process of admodify changed the RDN and I didnt know I needed to change anything else.

I appreciate the help.
