i have a splash screen launch at my program startup...it basically is a JWindow with a image and progress bar and status message which gets updated from time to time. during startup a login box(JFrame) pops up over the splash screen and you enter a user and pwd and hit OK and the login goes...

Okay, thanks for the suggestions so far... I was playing around with the lady's Outlook and I would try to send an excel/word file as attachment as stated originally, it comes up with the actual email with doc attached...when I clicked the "Send" button (on the email) or did File-->Send then...
