Hi all,

Please could anyone help me, I am trying to set a disclaimer on all outgoing email's in MS Exchange 2000.

Could anyone recommend any software or another way of doing this in Exchange 2000.

Cheers.

GFI MailEssentials is the only way I've seen to reliably make this work. The 30-day trial still works for one disclaimer after the 30 days is up, so you can use it for free (none of the other included tools work, but if you just need disclaimers, this will do the trick)

Their link is:

Your other option is to use SMTP event sinks, but you'd need to know VBS scripting to get them to work properly.

However, note that appending disclaimers breaks digital signatures! and they're often not even legally enforceable (search google groups for "legal binding email disclaimer").

You should check out the following

Not only can they handle adding disclaimers to messages that are digitally signed, but also to encrypted messages.

I echo ewiley...GFI MailEssentials not only allows the disclaimer but it's a real good spam filter and also gives you some good features beyond just being a spam filter. Try out the demo as ewiley suggested.
