Different mouse,same problem.Read your thread Palmer and removed the new Windows XP spyware program (download from MS). Although not mentioned by name it gave me a clue. mouse now works lik a charm. Thanks to all. Kelly

Ok, but why then, does MS tell you to look for the Key which is shown as a 20 digit string as found iu My Computer > properties > registered to :??? Kelly
When I run Belarc on a customers box,I get a 20 digit string folowed by ,in brackets Key : a 25 character of letters and numbers. Which is the product key and which is the software licence. Kelly
I am running XP Pro ,SP2 and Mozilla FireFox browser. Firefox has taken control of all picture files so that they open in the webbrowser.I cant find any way to stop ,or change this. Kelly

A freind reinstalled XP Pro ,Clean Install, he used Win backup and resored files with the same . Now My Docs & Jims' Files are denied.I am stumped,tryed everything I can think of and no go. Also some how he is set up as Limited user in users and I can't change the acount to Admin rights. Need...
