Does anyone know if Alcatel IP Touch phones (4028, 4028, and 4018's) are compatible with the Avaya Aura ?
And if we did a staged change could the Alcatel run in parallel to the Avaya ?

Just an update
The incompatible issue was resolved with an upgrade to 10.1.0.1 with a hotfix patch supplied by Avaya.
I am still working on the MOH issue.

I have a customer with some odd issues that started around Christmas, Was working fine before and no changes where made to the IPO or SBCE around this time.
Some issues are
when our customer call another company, the call is answered ok...
This is not a fault , just need to know why it is happening.
I have an IP Office with 10.1 using SIP trunks from Gamma.
A user has a speed dial named for ex Joe Blogs he uses the speed dial to call the display on his phone shows Joe Blogs until the call is connected then the display name...

I added a static route to the ipo of
192.168.44.0
255.255.255.0
192.168.42.254
gave my laptop an ip on the .44 range with default gateway of 192.168.44.254
And I can connect and ping the ipo from any port on the switch

Yes the switch sets itself with voice vlan 42 and data vlan 44
I have set my laptop with an ip on both but can't see the iPo

I have set up an iPo on 192.168.42.1 with dhcp
An Avaya ers3500 switch on 192.168.42.254 / 192.168.44.254
Ip phones are registering to the iPo with no issues and I can log them on and call between them.
When I connect my laptop to the switch I cannot ping the iPo or find it with manager...

When installing the Utility OVA the engineer choose the option "Utility Server Only "
The default option is "Full Functionality"
Does anyone know if choosing the Utility server only would cause the utility to be un contactable ?

We did not try this, We have no remote access at the moment but the engineer will be on another site on the same network tomorrow so will ask him to try.

One of our engineers has just deployed 3 new CM7 LSP's
When building he had a mini network set up with the gateway going into a small switch and his pc set to the same range and he could connect and setup the utility server with no issues.
Now all 3 are on the customer sites we cannot ping...
