I am setting up an SBC to IPO, The call is routing through but there is no audio.

The call shows in both system status and on a trace as going to the correct destination VM:Attd

I have attached a trace.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Open the RTP ports in the SBC.

See tab lan 1 Voip for the RTP port that IPO is using.

Hi Okkie

On the IPO I have set the RTP ports to 49152 - 65534

I have asked local IT to make sure that these are open on the firewall.

The SBC is proving difficult as it was originally installed by an engineer who has now left and did not leave the ucsec password

Then good luck.

Try to reacht him and ask for the password.

Where is the firewall, between IPO and SBC or infront of the SBC?

If it's infront it's the SBC RTP ports that should be opened in the firewall.
The default ports are 35000-40000.

Hi

Does anyone have a list of all the ports that would have to be on a firewall for an SBC and IP Office ?

Thanks

Varies depending on whose SIP trunk you use and how they configure their trunks, so there is no one size fits all list of ports.
5060 is common obviously and whatever RTP range they use, some use 5061 too, some change it completely :)
