Hicom PhoneMail won't come up after database reset

I held the reset/diagnostic button for 4-5 seconds... after that it went into Cadence 1. Left it like that for a while longer and it eventually booted compelety up with fast/normal blinking LED.

Hicom PhoneMail won't come up after database reset

You mean to reset the database? I went under the Maintainance Menu (Option 8) then chose Option 50.

Hicom PhoneMail won't come up after database reset

No I am not able to access the Phonemail prompts. As i mentioned, when i dial the VM1/VM2 extensions, the phone just rings. The Phonemail is external and conencted via 2 ports to the HiCom. In Assitant E the extensions show as Optiset E (vs No Port) so it's seeing something. But the unit...

Hicom PhoneMail won't come up after database reset

I recently used the MAINTAIN menu to reset the database in our Phonemail (v 1.03). Now, the device just shows cadence 3 (LED blinks 3 times after a long pause). I didn't think i needed to change anything on the HiCom OfficeCom itself, but I double checked the ports to be of type PhoneMail...

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

Used a couple tiny screw drivers and was able to "flip" the switch! It reset to German. Went through the above steps for 3.0 (even though I am running 2.2) and chose USA. It rebooted in German and all is well. Thanks.

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

Ps: Alternatively, the switch in question has 3 legs/pins into the main card. I assume 2 pins are normally connected (with the stick in the normal position) and the act of flipping connects the common pin to the 3rd one, completing a circuit that iniates the reboot/reset. Do you think it's...

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

Thank you. So the blue stick/flap is it. My next problem, is that the switch spring load seems to be broken. I.e. the blue stick moves about freely and is not pegged to one side as I presume it should :( I am going to have to ask for a miracle to try to get a reset. So that I get the...

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

...the CBFC to reset), I pulled out the cards hoping to reset something... The first phone now does power up however the display just shows "Trunk to:*". I tried *95, 31994, 31994 but it gave me incorrect password error. I tried connecting via Manager E, and it couldn't connect either - gave...

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

This reset button... can you give me more description about it's location and look? The only thing I seem to find next to the flash card (in the middle of the board) is a little black thing with a blue little "stick" coming out. Is that the reset switch? If you have a pic it'd be super...

HiCom 150E Factory Reset - How?

Our system doesn't seem to boot up properly any longer - all the phones are blank and the LEDs on the main card seems to be looping through a sequence. I think this happened when I last did an "overwrite" save via Manager E perhaps corrupting something. Is there a way to factory reset the...

Connecting a Cisco IP phone at home

What we have done is throw a pix at the remote location, which established a lan-2-lan VPN with the HQ. The pix runs DHCP locally and it sets option 150 (tftp server) for the tftp server/router across the VPN connection... it works fine.

CME B-ACD queue call pick up - how?

We prefer the sequential method, as some of the hunt members are too be less bothered (on average). Those folks are set at the back of the hunt list... however, our business logic is that it'd be benficial to have the ability to pick out calls from the queue by those members in the back of the...

CME B-ACD queue call pick up - how?

Have CME 7.0 running the basic ACD feature. Have a sequential hunt group that gets called when users press option 2 in the auto attendant. Everything works as expected. When users press 2 the first phone in the hunt group starts ringing while ALL phones in the group have their red light flash...

    PhoneMail Invalid Extension

Does anyone know the number of subscriber mailboxes an Office Phonemail (2 port running version 1.03) supports?

    PhoneMail Invalid Extension

I did find one thing. If the extension already has a subscriber mailbox enabled, when you go to the option to enable/disable the extension you get the "invalid extension" message. If I disable the subscriber mailbox first, then I can go back and disable/enable the extension. However, this did...

    PhoneMail Invalid Extension

We had a recent power outage with our HiCom 150 and Office PhoneMail devices. The units are back up at this point and functioning, however, the PhoneMail now does not allow me to enable or disable any extensions. When I go into the Installation Options menu and try to enable or disable an...

    HiCom UCD and AutoAttendant integration

Sorry, jumped the gun. The destination needs to be enabled in the PhoneMail itself. Once that was done I could set the CCR destination just fine. Issue solved.

    HiCom UCD and AutoAttendant integration

We have a HiCom 150E OfficeCom running version 2.2. We have a PhoneMail voicemail system attached to it. I'd like to set up a UCD group that can be accessed via the Phonemail autoattendant. The first step was to create the group, assign members. The next step - getting calls into UCD group #1...
