    DHCP Not Issuing Addresses

We have checked the ensure that the DHCP service is running and the scope is activated. There are no errors in the event logs. We have even gone as far as connecting a PC directly to the server via a cross connect and are still not getting an IP address. And in reference to Titlest reply...

    DHCP Not Issuing Addresses

Yes, DHCP is authorized, DNS is dynamic and listed, and scope is correct. And yes the server shows in the DNS correctly. When we release/renew the clients are getting DHCP unavailable error.

    DHCP Not Issuing Addresses

Our clients were still unable to renew. We were still not getting addresses when forcing a renewal.

    DHCP Not Issuing Addresses

We have recently created a new DHCP server on a Windows 2003 AD server. We deactivated its predecessor, Windows 2000 server. It appears to be setup correctly and authenticated. But it is not giving out IP addresses. What could be the cause?

    RFW Key - 2250

Thanx. To clarify my question a bit. We are doing away with our receptionist position. We use a voice recognition system that handle 90% of our calls. The remaining 8 or so calls an hour need to be forwarded to someone. I am looking for a real simple way to do this. Short of changing the...

    Red Light

Thanks everyone. I have a call into our vendor. But how do I check what is wrong? Is there some LD I use to check it or is it something I can physically see? Also is there something I need to do to avoid any further damage?

    RFW Key - 2250

How does the RFW key work? I am trying to find a way to call forward all calls to the attendant to a secondary location during the day, but still have normal Night service. If there is a better way to do this please let me know.

    Direct Dial

Is it possible to program a set to automatically dial a specific number when the handset is picked up? I need to setup a reception area phone that dials to our voicerec system.

    Moving the Attd

So...Let me see if I understand. If I wire it correctly, I can replace a 2616 with the 2250?

    Moving the Attd

Thanx JP. I'm not sure I completely understand. The console has a large cable in the back of it, not the standard RJ11 type. If I don't use the console to dim lights (which I don't), then can I program the console to any digital port?

    Moving the Attd

I was curious if it is possible to move where 0 rings to? And if what might be involved in moving the 2250 Console set.

I am trying to find out what processor version I have, and whether I need an upgrade for 5.0. I ran LD22/ISS and it showed the version as 2521. Can you tell me what processor I have? And if I need an upgrade for 5.0?
