I'm sorta new to pbx programming and hopefully by saturday night, I won't need to do any more of this on the Nortel (putting in the Cisco to full production). I'm don't know how to do what you are asking so if you can lay out what commands under what overlay that I need to do, I'd really really...
johnpoole,
can I add additional digits to the fdn? when I dsc the digits to cisco, all it does is ring a call handler where it plays a greeting. If I can add a * and forward to the cisco the extension, it'll do directly to that person's voicemail so that they don't have to listen to the greeting.
People already have cisco handsets on their desks. If someone left a message in the AVVID, their cisco phone would light up. I just need to somehow forward a call destined to a DN on the 11C to AVVID and append *<ext> so that it'll go directly to that person's voicemail in AVVID
I have an option 11C that's currently connected to a Cisco AVVID system via a PRI card. I'm currently routing some DN's in the Nortel System to the AVVID. I didn't setup this routing but I was told that if I ever needed to route additional numbers to the AVVID, I should go to LD 87 and do a...
Currently running CallPilot Administrator Client ver. 1.07 (Build 01.07.09.05)
I figured out a work around on what I needed to do. Basically, we were faced with having to change our standard automated greeting with an emergency greeting due to hurricane Katrina.
Even though I wasn't able to...
I uninstalled and reinstalled the CallPilot Admin Client (with reboots after each process) and I still can't load any apps. I also can't create any application. Both give me the same error message.
Currently running CallPilot server 1.07.09. I can't seem to open any applications in Application Builder. When I click on File/Open, I see the list of applications, but can't open it. What can I do to get access to these applications?
In my quest to free up additional space on our Call Pilot Server, I discovered that I have a fine in 2 different locations. The filename is bluedat1.db and it's located:
D:\nortel\database
and
D:\nortel\sysops\backup\database
Looking at the one in the backup folder it looks like haven't been...
Thanks for the response John,
I looked at the backup settings and from the logs, it looks like all the backups are going to the primary tape device. *If* there are backups on the hard drive, what filename/location would they be under? Is it safe to do a chkdsk or defrag on the data drive?
We have a Callpilot 201i running 1.07 server/client. For the past few months we've been battling storage issues on Callpilot. As it sits now, we have about 2% storage free out of the initial 4GB partition which translates to about 82MB free.
What made us aware of the storage problem is a...
We recently changed a single class C subnet 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 to a supernet with 3 class C's just like yours, 192.168.1.0-192.168.3.255 with a subnet mask of 255.255.252.0.
We had to change all our internal servers' subnet mask to reflect the supernet and redefine the DHCP scope in NT...
The router is assigning the IP via DHCP. I'm pinging from and to both machines via IP address only. I've tried sharing the entire C drive on the 98 machine with no password setup but the XP machine was not able to browse to the machine.
Hi all,
Here is the setup:
The user is behind a cable modem connected to a linksys router. There are two computers connected to the linksys router. One is a laptop running XP-Pro and the other is a desktop running 98SE. Both computers can surf the Internet and can ping the router. The 98...
On our Windows network, I am able to browse the network, open a computer on that network and get access to its task scheduler. Now, I've disabled the task scheduler from running that computer, but why am I still able to create a blank task? Would it be possible to flood the computer with all...
We have a BDC that serves printers for our company. There is a printer on a certain IP address that the BDC can't communicate with. But all the other computers on the same network is able to ping this printer. The BDC is able to ping everything else on the network. Any suggestions?
