try adding your corporate.domainname.com IP address to the HOSTS file on your internal client PCs. I have had a similar problem before and this usually solves it.

Yes we have a firewall but it is not being blocked. We have no proxies set. I did a nslookup for the IP and I am still unable to access the page when using the IP.

Make sure the host name and ip are in your HOSTS file.

I looked up the server in DNS and under its IP address there is a different computer name. The server with the problem is 192.168.101.11 and the host name is smsapps, but in DNS that IP address has a host name of permission.domainname.com We do not have any computers named permission.
