There is a trigger key_others, which may solve ur purpose, but it'll be better if u could specify ur requirement. At what situation u want to know the key pressed ? Is it in Enter Query mode ?
Did u try droping the index. In fact some times it creats problems with the indexes of the table. So if u have index(s) for the table u may drop that, re-create those again. Pl. reply back if the problem persists still.
Yes Richard, When u r getting in SQL, Reports, it should not create n e problems in Forms. Did u try to select a table thru the Form wizard ? I mean at which point does it show the error.
Sorry for the delay Richard. In that case U can extract data from Access by connecting/ configuring thru ODBC. Do u want the data in SQL or Reports ???
Yes, I use win9x clients and the server is running in a Unix server. From the client site I want to execute a shell script that is stored in the server.
Thanx.
Hi !
Can N E 1 explain me how to run a shell script thru Forms of Developer 2000. For Ex. if I want the SQL Loader to be executed from a Form, then how do I execute the following statement : sqlload userid=user/password control=x.ctl ....
Thanx in advance.
Hi !
I could not follow ur prob. correctly. Still why do u use form and then send the info. to reports. Did u try taking the user info thru report parameter and then in report executing the same query that u r executing in the forms. Then it'll extract the desired records in reports.
