Yes rebooting the 1XP server fixed the issue. It could of been the many users playing around with the telecommuter mode at the same time. Since that day it has worked very well.
My other issue I have to tackle is the every so often a agent locks themselves out of CCR and the forget password...
peter, it actually works if you have them login to a base extension. I created a IP extension for each user and it shows BLF via 1XP. 1XP acts like a phone, it does lag some but does show Busy when on phone, ringing, available and offline.
tlpeter,
I thought the same originally so i ran the avayafw.bat file but only a handful of users have had this issue. I am going to reboot services after hours tonight to hopefully clear them and see during hours tomorrow if it acts the same.
I have a IP500 V2 running 6.0.18 software and 3 servers running (1 - VMpro 2 - OneX (win2008 server) 3 - CCR (win2008 server)
Issue 1:
About 45 users are using 1XP logging in and setting telecommuter mode attached to single line phones at different offices around the US. When the users log in...

What is the distance from the phone system to the phone? What type of cable is it on cat3, cat5, cat5e? Could also be a pwr issue. Does this happen on a phone call not using the speaker?

That isn't that bad. We are are primarily an Avaya dealer but use the panasonic on the smaller customers. the IP Office has the same setup.
The best way to set up systems like that is have the customer terminate all voice to a patch panel then use patch cords to connect the system. Not only...
I agree cwc it definately targets a select small end customer. It is nice that the system is rack ready which seems even the small end 10-15 customers are using racks for both voice and data recently.
In my area PRI costs are so low if you have a 10-15 user system its worth it. Below 10...

I started out with manuals but PDF's became much easier to find information.
Although I always prefer a book over a pdf.
I think us techs are more spoiled with cell phones then pdf's. Now you don't have to use your buttset to make a call :)

They have been a great system we sell a good bit of them over the past 3 yrs. I still think they lack the user friendly VM. I hope the 'new' TVA (if they ever come out with it) give more options for us techs to change programming (CS menus/options) via phone.

Bruce brought in a SIP phone that said will be released soon. It was the HGT-100. We haven't sold any so wasn't aware some vendors could purchase them. Our sales people were asking when they can sell them and he mentioned very soon. Oh well techs usually find out last. Or until we are given...
penrose I spoke to a software engineer when he was in my office and he knowns of a vendor that has a solution. It does involve a 3rd party device but works like a charm. But out of the box programming the NCP can not do it. Which was one of the questions I asked him.
