Hey pal... You should consider choosing the right SIP Provider. Most issues occur when the SIP provider doesnt offer you the right technical features (specially DTMF issues). When you are served SIP trunk from one good SIP provider there's no need to worry about Routers. I have...
@EveryOne
I have friends who happen to own business, others work in a Large Public Organization. And they happen to love the idea of changing their phone ringing style to Avaya's. And selling IPO 500 with the new 9600 IP phones is a Huge win! It has appeal, people. Avaya People come on! Id...
@Anyone
Does anybody know any Avaya IPO app dedicated to display recorded call protocol on Avaya IPO phones? This would be excellent for finding important recorded calls.
Many thanks.

Hi. The Local network is already working! One simple detail in the Domain name was the cause for that issue. It worked smoothly from 08:00 to 12:00. But, all of the sudden, one of the PC users reported freezing of the Medical office app. The user restarted his PC. And then he was...
That recently just happened to me... I intend to connect 5 Windows XP Home Edition to one Dell Server R200, with Win 2003 R2. Turns out, these PCs cannot logon to the server. They are invited to type in their user names and passwords but nothing. And then, theres this Login issue with Avaya VMP...
How bout installing one regular Windows XP Home Edition with ISS propperly installed in the Dell Server? Do you think the Server will accept Windows XP?

@ Everyone
The issue was caused by the SIP line provider.... I just moved to another SIP line provider and everything works smoothly. I love Avaya IPO ... :)
@ tlpeter
So, have you tested one 9650 IP phone as a SIP extension? Does it work smoothly? I already have one 9650 waiting to be attached to IPO 500 :)
@kolladay
Hi... Ive just tested anyother SIP provider here in Sao Paulo, and now DTMF works wonders. Even if the caller is a cell phone user. Tomorrow, I will test T38 transmission.
Many thanks.
@Everybody
Hi everybody. Ive upgraded our Avaya IP500 firmware to 5.0, but still I face DTMF issues on our SIP trunk incoming calls. Since I still had issues when using one broadband router (Draytek 2910) I decided to run the SIP trunk directly from our broadband internet cable modem. I found...
@Everyone
I have just spoken to one important staff member from Avaya Brasil and he/she has told me that IPO 5.x will support the 96xx IP Phones series, due to Sept 2009. Yay! :)
