    Thanks a bunch!! That helped!! I got it working in the resolv.conf!! Could you kindly tell me how exactly to do it via "via DHCP"?? What should I specify on the DHCP server then? What if I multiple DHCP servers on different domains? Please advice!!

    Not really. I am not talking about syncing with the desktop calender. I am talking about sharing calender from the desktop , laptop with the PDA over the internet. As I said before, gmail is a possible solution, but still it is not a perfect solution as you dont alerts. Thanks.

    I am sorry, just one more Q. I was trying to backup to a Western Digital External USB drive, but it doesnt seem to see it. In Device manager it does see external USB. USB devices are enabled, I tried to install the driver, but still not luck. Am I using the wrong driver?? Thanks.
