Hi is there anyway to get Exchange 2007 to connect to hosted email boxes (ISP), authenticate, then download them and put them into the correct users exchange mailboxes?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
One both Genesys TServer and AES server there are logs, which will let you see what is being sent between. The other thing to do is to put a sniffer such as ethereal and see in real time what is happenning.
IDS
I thought that you would like that.
if you want specific information about these let me know or you could Google the description and you will get to learn all about IP telephony. oh fun oh joy. enjoy
IDS
Have a look at command status port-network XX
and also list meas load today
They provide some information on the port newtork links.
There is no command specific for DS1C EI's as the objects are configurable and the system just thinks that it is fiber.
IDS
As far as the definity goes you wont know what DS1C the traffic is on.
The EI card just thinks that there is an 8 meg link there ( fiber or T1) it doesnt know.
There are no commands on the definity to check this either.
In terms of redundancy depending on the how much the customer deems acceptable service in an outage. I have had customers that want to mimic the CTI and others that can live with general service no customer segmentation stuff.
Most cases i will build in enough redundancy, but yes it can become...
Ive done this within Genesys integrating into Avaya, Alcatel, Nortel.
You can add alot of value by introducing CTI and associated modules.
Dont forget it can also add certain types of complexity as well.
Ok basically you need an external scripting or routing process.
MicroAutomation should have this module available and so should the IVR.
What would happen is a call would come in and get directed to the IVR (for instance). The IVR would run a script ( your business rules...
Depending on the solution being provided by MCI, will depend on the functionality.
ie if MCI will route the calls to the VDN on site then queue lights can be used. BUT if you are routing locally at the CPE using Genesys you cannot use the queue lights from the definity as they are a definity...
What you need to do is ring up someone like Reliance Communications or Command.... they have manuals from way back but they might charge you to send someone to do it for you.
