    Ok i have solved my problem. I can now access our progress database. All i needed to make sure of is that all machines had a c:\temp directory. Try it you never know. This work for me but its a problem with version 8.3

    Printer Control Panel Crash

    WINDOWS 2000 sp2 Everytime i Go START-->SETTINGS--->Printers my machine locks up. I know i have a networked HP4000 and a Lexmark E312 on LTP1. Machine is 1gig P3 compaq with 256 meg of ram. This machine is a new build also.

    I can not see our Sco unixware 7.1 server if i go into our network neighbouthood area in Win2k. I can ping the server at its IP address and i can also Remote in using the ip address.     Sorry my mistake. Disk 1,2,6 are standalone and 3-5 are raid 5. Now i understand that # mkdir /Directoryname # Mount /dev/dsk/diskname / directoryname is what i am meant to use. But given a list of the hardrives names who do you identify which is which

    Ok stupid question probably. When an email is sent from my machine to myself or anyother in the building it appears an hour earlier. (when i send at 2pm it appears as 1pm) My windows clock is fine and network seems fine also
