I have found that it is only line 5 that is going to the main greeting. Lines 6 and 7 both go to extension 18's voicemail. Where do I take line 5 out of whatever it needs to be taken out of?
I am in the same boat here. However assigning extension 18 to lines 5,6,7 in my case will not forward to extension 18's voicemail. It just goes to the default greeting for extension 10. What am I missing?
Annihilannic, thanks for the reply. I looked at the .ppd's held within that tar.gz. Looks like it's pretty much the same as the ones supplied with Solaris, the same old options apply. Paper Type, Size, Print Quality, Margins.
I am aware that the .ppd's get copied over to /etc/lp/ppd when...
I have looked over the .ppd files many times. Looks like all the command line options are defined by the "*FoomaticRIPOptionSetting" setting. This doesn't really help me, it just shows me what can be set. Does anyone have and resources on editing .ppd files? Or maybe a query of the printer...
My company is currently upgrading from Solaris 9 to Solaris 10. Our current Solaris 9 installation uses HP Jetadmin. We pass some very specific options at the queue level (-o landscape -o fp14 -o vsi5.4 -o tm5) to our printers using the net_ljx000 driver to achieve the output we need. Here is...
I'm trying to add a new service through SMF but I'm getting an error while trying to add it via svccfg. As far as I can tell, everything looks good. Can someone help guide me in the right direction?

Thank you for this information kwbMitel, I find it strange that I couldn't find this information in any of the user guides, or the tech manual.
Thanks again!
Very interesting about the forwarding external. By "external forwarding feature code" I meant the "Call Forwarding - All Calls". I'm used to the Nortel method of forwarding which is very cut and dry. I have the Technicians Handbook ver 4.0. Can't find anything about programming personal...
COS Option 123 was disabled, so I enabled and now she says when she dials *10 followed by the internal extension to forward to, it intercoms the operator? No, she is not trying to forward to the operator.
Anyone?
I have an SX-200 ICP, customer states that the external forwarding feature code is not working (*10). I had her try the DND code to see if any codes were working and it didn't appear to work either (calls still ring the phone). I checked the COS options to make sure forwarding was enabled...
GHTROUT-
Thanks once again! I was able to connect into core 0, disable all the TTY's that were on the same board as TTY4, reseat the card and once they were enabled everything was fine.
GHTROUT-
What about the paddle board? Or is disabling the ports sufficient? Also, where is the board even located? Are there multiple boards? Are they numbered? I want to get as much info as possible before I go on-site with no internet access :)
I've got one of /those/ problems today with a customer. It's the usual, "It happens somedays and not others" type problem. It's an SX200-ICP, w/ embedded Voicemail. All I know is that the Operator is getting calls from "VM 1, VM 2, etc." on the display and when she picks it up, it immediately...
GHTrout-
What are my options here? I'm pretty sure there are some free TTY's I can use, but I am unable to see the programming of them since this was my only access to the switch.
Go onsite and start plugging the modem into different ones, hoping they're programmed right?
