If you're using IP handsets and allowing your primary server to backup your remote locations, you might try allowing the system to automatically assign the location via IP subnet. If your phones fallback to the primary server, their location information will remain intact. Of...

I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me. I have done some searching and haven't come up with anything recent.
Another technician has experienced Hunt Groups disappearing with Server Edition 9.1.3 and warned me about the issue before I began this project that we are about to...

Any of you folks know if we can audibly alert sets when a call is on hold without the Park Time out being reached?
This is a feature the client's old system had. Every 15 seconds or so it would "beep" to indicate there is a call still on hold.
So if I want to stop one or both of the applications like voicemail or onex portal on the UC Module all I have to do is stop it in the Webmanager. One question is will the services restart after the server reboots for whatever reason?
Thanks for the reply derfloh.
I thought about doing that too and it certainly sounds better to have two ip addresses to remember rather than 3. Have you or anyone else deployed this configuration?
Hello all,
We have a customer that has a UC module running VMPRO and Portal. (IP500V2 running 9.0)
Our salesman underestimated the needs of the client in regards to the portal and we are in need of more than 50 concurrent connections at one time.
Proposed suggestion from Sales:

Wondering what you guys were paying in referral fees to those that bring you work. I have a telecom broker that occasionally brings me leads. If he brings me a lead that pans out, what should I pay him? Doing research has brought me no closer to an answer so I thought I would ask the question...
I have had two V1 power supplies failures in the 2 last months. Installing a refurbished unit will only land you in a similar position (good luck finding one anyway). Upgrading them to a V2 is the way to go. Just ensure that you look at their licensing before you upgrade them. You can screw...
My goodness. I cannot figure this out either.
Working on getting a D160 up is like building a pyramid apparently.

The ability to reuse their 44xx sets was a big selling point. Saved them thousand$.
Doing what I can to beat out my competition.
I would rather see them sitting in a box at the recycling center to be honest.
I will close out the post with an update.
I went back on site to upgrade the control unit and expansion module. Upon running monitor to check for in and out of band DTMF we realized that the problem was no longer happening. Nothing was changed on the IPO.
I can only assume that the issue was...
I might agree with that if it were a system wide issue but it isn't. It only happens on the 44xx series phones. They used this PRI and these same 4412 sets with a magix before so...
I think it must be a problem with firmware on the expansion module.
...I wanted to be sure which number was actually causing the problem, I made all of her press options repeat back to her what she had pressed. 0-9 and * and #. Voicemail pro hears the DTMF just fine on my system.
What do you guys think?
I thought it might be a problem with their conference...

Hello all.
I am trying to add surveillance systems to the list of items that I can offer my clients.
Through my hardware supplier, I am able to access a couple of very good manufacturers, Samsung being my favorite.
I have a client that wants a system and he is used to buying systems that you...
