I know you can add the EMERG button and define what it is calling, and rename the buttons, but do you have the syntax to move it from one button to another?
Is there a way to create a Vector that will allow Dial by Name but only look within the same Tenant as the VDN?
I have an Enterprise system with about 200 tenants and 20K + extensions. Looking to add Dial By Name to a vector for one Tenant and don't want to get all Extensions in the system.
You would think the system would log the time from itself. My call accounting is showing proper times on calls.
Thinking about what you said, the problem should only happen on trunk calls to a station. An inhouse call should log properly.
Yes we do have a PRI. Does Avaya show this as a problem? I have since found that I have another site with the same problem. It only effects the log on the phones. How is the PRI involved?
The time was right on the manager PC.It did update itself when daylight savings time changed and the IPO is set to get its time from the Manager PC.
So would my best bet be reboot the server, or the phones?
Any one have any problems with the call log time displaying the wrong time on call? Example phone recieves a call at 10 am. When you view the log on the phone it shows the call at 9 am.
So your saying it will just pickup a new address from the voice dhcp server? Which dhcp server should have the low lease time? Can you think of any reason it the phones wont get the new address. When we shut down the data dhcp server the phones all load properly from the voice server.
You are right with the option 176. I do have it defined in both dhcp scopes. It wont drop the data IP address. I have checked the scope to make sure it hasent changed. It is correct. I cant tell if there could be a problem with the way the customer has there ports configured in there switches.
Is there someone who can provide a concise statement of what happens during the bootup process in a dual vlan environment. The bootup sequence document comes close, but it isn't complete for a dual vlan environment.
This what I believe happens durning the phone loading:

Depending on how you NPSYS programing is set up, you can forward to a system speedial number. Do you need to be able to send to differt numbers? If it is only one number send to speeddial
Can somebody tell me if there is a user guide that explains how to do telecommuting? I understand how to set it up, but I am looking for a procedure on accessing it and changing your coverage group.
