When doing a status station 1394. The Administered Type is 4620 but the Connected Type is ?. All of the phones are working properly. Are there any known issues regarding the ? as the Connected Type.
Thank you!
Mike,
Thank you for your suggestion. I did change her COS from 3 to 0 which enabled console permissions. This is a G3siV9 and I don't see call forward off net as an option. We are having trouble receiving calls from off-Net on the call forwarded station. Inside calls are successful.
Console was replaced with 6424 set type. When call forwarding from outside it does not work. Inside call forward works. What or where should I check to see why this feature no longer works properly with new set type.
Thank you in advance.
I have a client that has been 4.0 for a year that has a MapD. There has been no problems with this being in the configuration. We also have AES implemented but not replacing the MapD yet. We got pricing for license's and it will be $78,000 to replace the MapD. We have taken the notion to get...
You could, from the IP-Phone, hit the (mute) button and 4, 6 & 8 #. That command will allow you to disable the 2nd ethernet port. Why are they not plugging their computers in the 2nd eth. port?
dmthames,
Completly different. 255.255.255.0 does not see 255.255.254.0.
you should not loose PN connectivity. the only reason it should bounce from A to B is if for some reason you have a problem on A control and the system feels as if it should interchange due to system health.
Scarey,
You can have 2 CMS machines running but not both being active. High Availability is implemented as a hot standby with all files being shared via the network connection. just consider it to be a server in standby ie. S87xx environment.
And 4merAvaya is right on!
Server A has a Control A and B port for connectivity to IPSI's.
Server B has a Control A and B port for connectivity to IPSI's.
All IPSI's in A carrier or A Control are configured by either means of DHCP or static to communicate to server A or B, which ever is active.
All IPSI's in B carrier...
Just for reference I had to replace the Gateway and that solved the problem. The Media Gateway enbedded Voip was bad. But thanks Phoneman2 for the reply.
Is there a solution for multiple Contact Closure's thru the S8700 Auxiliary trunk pack or Analog and 909's.
I have a customer that would like one one every floor and would like one at every IDF.
4 floors with 4 IDF's involved. They would like to dial an Access code, like paging, and it...
I am pretty sure that SSH "Putty" is the only way to access the CM Servers. If you think that's a pain, how about upgrading firmware using SFTP instead of just FTP?
What type of system are you working on. If it is a MCC you could have a bad wire harness. I have replaced those to fix a power problem when all other components have been replaced.
