Will <textarea wrap=virtual>, or wrap=physical? These wrap tage are recognized by Netscape only, and I have never used them myself. Just saw it in a book over the weekend.<br>

I agree with robherc. I would add to his advise, set the width of your overall table to 100% and add align="center" inside of your <td> tags if necessary.<br>

thank you both for your suggestions... I was using </li>, so that was not an issue... the "@" was a good idea, but these <li>'s are also <a href>'s with JavaScript rollovers. I am learning JavaScript, but am not writing the companion code that is giving me such a runaround...

does anybody know a way to override the default line breaks in a list? i have tried the <nobr></nobr> tags with no luck. we are using css and i have not been able to override the breaks there either. can anyone help?
