Exchange 2007 / SBS2008 EAS problem. Cannot authenticate with mobile devices!

Nope, rebuilt everything in the SBS web applications website. The weird thing is that all other parts work fine, it's just the OWA that won't respond when a request is done over the internet. Intranet works fine (e.g. accessing from LAN).

Exchange 2007 / SBS2008 EAS problem. Cannot authenticate with mobile devices!

Nope. If only it were that simple. I am very familiar with (NAT)router configurations, I wouldn't be a professional if i hadn't figured that one out (i have completely shut off access to the router WebUI from WAN, i have an IPSec VPN server configured). Nonetheless, it's a valid suggestion. But...

Exchange 2007 / SBS2008 EAS problem. Cannot authenticate with mobile devices!

Sorry for the long wait. Busy busy busy When i try to access OWA from the WAN through https, i get webpage not available. No errors from other side. In other words the OWA website does not respond at all. Icould check the access log in IIS, if i knew where to look. Maybe you can help me with...

Exchange 2007 / SBS2008 EAS problem. Cannot authenticate with mobile devices!

Damn this. I just found the cause. Turns out you have to enable authentication on both SBS web applications website AND the virtual directory. Leaves me with one more issue: Accessing OWA from the WAN. This still won't work.

Exchange 2007 / SBS2008 EAS problem. Cannot authenticate with mobile devices!

This is starting to give me a real big headache. Been busy on this for days without success. I am trying to get some android phones to sync with EAS. Router ports have been opened, no problem there (i checked this in the logs). I have configured EAS to work with SSL, no success. Phone whines...

How to merge two mailboxes with identical names from two different databases

Duh! It appears that with manual matching, you have to put an asterisk in the target folder... ##%$@#^@$#^%@#$^%@#!!!!! Anyways, I got everything done. All 11 mailboxes merged and everybody is happy :) Thanks a lot for the suggestions!!

How to merge two mailboxes with identical names from two different databases

Well, i made the recovery storage group, and managed to mount the old mailbox database into the RSG, while linked to the first storage group. I had to manually match mailboxes, because the mailbox GUIDs are of course all different from the mailboxes in the brand new exchange installation (no...

How to merge two mailboxes with identical names from two different databases

Damn me. I am not supplying all the info again. My Bad. Biggest problem of all is that the mailboxes to merge all have identical names. So mailbox "john" from database "old email" has to be merged with mailbox "john" in database "Mailbox database". So there it is. Any help would be greatly...

How to merge two mailboxes with identical names from two different databases

Hi, First of all, I am not an exchange expert. So bear with me if i seem a bit noob in this matter. My customer had a server crash. He managed to get a new server up and running, but here's the thing: he created all new mailboxes. Mail has been coming into these mailboxes for a week now so...

Can you create VPN on Windows XP network with no extra cost??

Yes you can. But it will require setting up port forwardings in the routers, and good knowledge op IPSec tunneling. In the microsoft knowledge base, search for IPSec policy tunneling and you'll find a document that explains how you can create IPSec VPN tunnels between Windows servers. Without...

Setting up WIRELESS in our WAREHOUSE ?

If you already have a non-wireless router for your internet, DO NOT purchase a router! A Wireless access point will suffice, plus the added bonus of being able to place the WAP anywhere you like with just one ethernet cable (and power of course). That ethernet cable just plugs into your existing...

    Compaq Laptop Motherboard Compatibility

The minerals that are dissolved in water (especially bottled water) don't evaporate when drying with a hair dryer, leaving conducting mineral salts on placed they shouldn't be. Result: shorts everywhere. My best experience with dealing such a matter is using compressed air to blast the water...

Connected to VPN but don't see anything

VPN connects you to the office's network, but your installed apps (like outlook etc) have to do the rest. Connectting through VPN is as if you're directly plugged into the corporate network. You can use your apps at home in exactly the same manner as you would do at work.

Failed to send DNS query to server

then you must check if your internet connection is not occasionally disconnected, even if for a very short period. It's possible your internet connection is dropped for a split second every now and then, causing these errors. I also get them occasionally. Or it's possible your dns servers are...

    http policy

Simple. All you need to do is: 1. add 6 rules to the HTTP policy section, each allowing access to the URL you enter into each entry. 2. make a rule denying *.*, but make sure this rules is placed UNDER the other 6 rules. This makes sure the ALLOW rules get priority over the deny rule.

Failed to send DNS query to server

Those IP addresses in the errors you get, are they your regular DNS server IP's?

    WinXP Pro VPN

It should do if you forward IPSec ports to your VPN server.
