What voice mail products (Lucent/Avaya only, please) are compatable with the Partner Plus system? I'm pretty certain that big mail and vs work, but how about a messaging card (new or old version)? Thanks.
I'm not familiar witht the designation "H-103", so the following may not apply. This is the programming for a Partner ACS (& earlier versions, I believe, such as Partner Plus):
At extension 10, press the feature button, then dial 00;
Press the left intercom button twice;
Press the pound key...
799 is absolute...you cannot remove any extensions. And yes, there is a limit of 10 extensions per group for 793-798. It may be necessary to assign just a few phones per area...if you just have one per room, and that phone is in use, the room will not hear the announcement.
By the way, you...
...to DN 3902, but that's not a great solution. As I understand it, you changed the dn in programming from 3902 to 3967. If so, check (feature *0) the set again...sometimes programs changes are not instantaneous, and it may be ok now. If not, write me at pjolly@yahoo.com and I'll check on it...
In programming, show a.config and use next to system data. Show sys data and next to individual DN (actually, it may be the first option under sys data). Show individual DN. If prompted for old DN, enter 3902, then enter 3697 for new DN. (You may need to use next to get to change dn...not...
Sorry...my bad for assuming newer software. This may help:

...Only” do not appear on a button – incoming calls on that line will appear on an intercom button.
1. Enter into programming by pressing Feature **266344 266344.
2. The display will read “Terminals & Sets”. Press SHOW.

First, add the extensions you want to ring to calling group (recommend you use calling group 2, since 1 is often programmed for group paging) as follows:
- At ext. 10 or 11, press feature zero zero
- press left intercom twice
- press pound (#) 502
- enter 2, enter extension to add, enter 1...
enter 9997 pound for the extension, enter the serial number followed by pound for the password. It should say "goodbye". If this is a module, look for a tiny hole that says "reset". Within 5 minutes of "goodbye", press an opened paperclip into the hole and hold down the tiny button for a...
ASA or automatic system answer can be programmed to answer all calls after a specified # of rings, give a brief greeting, and then:
a. place call on hold at extension 10
b. ring all extensions programmed with that line, or
c. hang up
DXD or direct extension dial answers after specified # rings...
If you would like a "cheat sheet" for programming the CCR, please send me an email at pjolly@yahoo.com and I'll reply with a word attachment.
If you're using a CCR tree, you can define a path (let's say 8) as an info path. When the record screen comes on, press record, then press OK immediately. The next option after you approve the recording is to define where the call routes after playing the info message. Select HOME. When you...
I believe that unless you have Centrex, you cannot forward lines off-site with a Partner system. If you do have Centrex, you may be able to program a selector code in your auto attendant to perform centrex transfer. I know that Partner VS allows this, but am not sure about big mail. Go into...
It is normal...the calls are hunting for an open port. If one becomes available before the caller hangs up, the call will then go to voice mail. Options:
If this happens regularly, they need to upgrade to more ports. Depending on the type of vm, this may just be a software upgrade. Take a...
How do you determine the system version/release for a legend or merlin mail system? This is a 6-port module or card that is plugged into a legend system.
