Working on a project trying to tie call data records to the .wav files stored by voicemail pro.
Files have names like MSG3903600156692940
Can anyone help make sense of the number that's here? What is this naming convention they are using?
Two related goals.
Android phones using outlook now do not play the format of the .wav file voicemail generates. Has anyone seen a way to change any of the file settings? Mp3 for example?
I also am looking at the audio quality of call recording. I need to check the codces and stuff in the...
Since we've gone to R11 our dect phones are now slow to connect. Its a solid 5 seconds before your connected to the caller, or get dial tone after picking up. Anyone else notice this? solutions?
We just made the the jump from R9 to R11. At R9, the old Phone Manager PC application still worked. At R11, it does not. We're looking at One-X portal for call control on the PC (we use DECT phones, its much easier) and One-X feels ancient! Is there a 3rd party application out there that can do...
I need to download some IP office files. I used to have a user\pass for the Avaya SSO and the system is now telling me my email does not exist. I'm trying to setup a new account, but looks like I need this site ID? I've not had a relationship with a reseller for years and take care of my own...
I have a site on the other side of an SCN where the users group button is not blinking when a call is queued at the main site. 4 different users, all with the same problem. This worked a-okay for the longest time, and randomly stopped working after a power outage. Any ideas? I've rebooted both...
is there any way to tell in the admin how many phones have associated to the base? This particular area has 10 people in a collective group in one area, there is a base flanking them on either side about 100ft in each direction. I can try and balance them out but I'm not sure which base they are on.
I have an issue where I collective ring about a dozen IP DECT phones. I've constantly had guys saying their phone does not ring when everyone else's does. When they say each base can handle 8 calls, I always assumed this was 8 active talking voice calls. Could it be the base can only ring 8 phones?
I should add, the problem generally does not occure with extension to extension calls. In this case, I am fighting with a call forwarding from one store to another. Its the IPO routing the call, not the extension.
I've turned DMP off on the entire path, it still does not work. The only router in the system is an older Cisco 1841 routing the local voice & data vlans over the WAN port. Its really pretty dead simple. Could the router possibly be at fault? its really the worlds most boring configuration.
I have 5 sites connected with an SCN. They are networked with a Comcast layer-2 Ethernet service. Each site has a simple Cisco 1841 router. I can't seem to find a configuration with direct media path that ensures that all calls have working audio. When i forward calls from one store to another...
this is still giving me trouble.
I backed up the config form the old one using both the import\export under file and the backup on the preferences menu.
I restored both of these into the windows server, the restore finishes with errors. There was a bunch of stuff missing.
I ftp'ed the...
