how would i add scrollbars in layout tables?
i have 3 rows of layout tables and for each one i wanna add a scroll bar instead of expanding the layout table,
thx,
tench
you might wanna start with a layout cell, then for the links add some blue highlight that turns images into links,
add layout cells on the contents spot
ok i've been using css styles to work the backgrounds of my templates.
the problem is that when i preview them in the browser there is dash marks wherever i have used a css style for a background.
how do i get rid of it? or should i just paste images instead?
< but that creates some problems...
yea if you use an ftp program they can mess up ur site badly if u dont use 'em right and i know this from experience.
You usually have to go into the correct folders where your uploading the files into to replace and select a certain file then upload,
IF you are using an independed ftp program ^^
i am very sorry but the 2 posts above i accidently mistook for another topic,

i have lots of layout cells on my left side of the website containing a navbar and some boxes for...
in ur dreamweaver, top bar, select site -> manage sites -> then select ur site and click edit, when the dialogue box pops up, go to remote server, and choose ftp,
from there fill in the stuff and voeila
and i didnt upload it so that it wouldnt mess up the site, which ... i guess i could have downloaded the template via ftp instead of fixing the one i had
No i didnt use tables, i had to manually select each layout cell and change their hiegth and width then move them into appropiate places, lol took me a while,
anyway it wasnt really a squish more like stretching everything, they were in the correct order but just expanded leaving empty spots...
I figured it out myself and would like to share this to any1 who may run into the same problem,

to do this:
open up your template, click file- > export -> css styles - > name...
ok my 2nd thread ( im kinda new to dw)
anyway,
heres my other probleM:
when i select a button and choose the link to .. lets say google, then i preview it in a browser and click on it
instead of going to google it ends up "url not found" and the url is "mywebsite.com/....google.com/ something...
i might as well ask another question i have:
in some of those css parts when i preview in browser, they have a dash mark which is kind of annoying, anyone know how to fix this? im sure it has something to do wtih css again.
well i guess heres my final question:
should css be used in html...
