how do i make it so that when an editable region passes the lalyout cell maximum, only one image expands rather than my whole left side panel?

Can you explain a little further? Are you referring to when you use tables and the table gets all squished? Please either refer us to your site or explain a little further.

No i didnt use tables, i had to manually select each layout cell and change their hiegth and width then move them into appropiate places, lol took me a while,
anyway it wasnt really a squish more like stretching everything, they were in the correct order but just expanded leaving empty spots between images.

and i didnt upload it so that it wouldnt mess up the site, which ... i guess i could have downloaded the template via ftp instead of fixing the one i had

i am very sorry but the 2 posts above i accidently mistook for another topic,
ok heres what i mean:
i havnt uploaded my site so im unable to show you wot it looks like, ill try my best to describe.
i have lots of layout cells on my left side of the website containing a navbar and some boxes for ads,to the right are my contents and to the top i have a link bar containing links to forums and a banner at the top.
the problem is that my contents are to small so in some pages the contents extend a little bit, but when they do so, they effect all the stuff on my left side including the navbar and ad boxes. it creates "blank" or "stretched" image instead of wot it really looks like. if you still dont understand my description XD ill take a screenshot =)

ok here is a screenshot
