We're having a major problem at the moment; we have a virtual server set up to connect to to TM using IE6. This works perfectly well up until a couple of weeks ago and now none of our passwords/usernames will allow us access. It just fails to authenticate.
Our supplier engineers have been...
I have an extension here that seems to be getting calls from another skillset despite the user not being on it.
Is there a way to list all the CFWs on the switch so I can search and prove whether or not someone has entered the wrong forwarding number on their handset?
Cheers
Sorry. Thought I made it clear in the original post - I can't reroute it in the script. For operational (ie senior management decisions) I have to keep the reception scripts separate from this financial one.
I need to be able to actually pick up the line from another phone if it rings.
We have a dedicated I2004 telephone in our office upstairs specifically to deal with external financial calls (calls come in and are routed to the phone via skillset/ACD queue).
I need our receptionists to be able to pick up the call on this ACD queue if the phone rings and there is no one...
I have a group mailbox set up on a CDN line (7645) which the group members check *very* infrequently because they forget. Ideally I either need the MWI to light up on every member of the group or put a button onto their phones to indicate status or allow them to connect to the correct mailbox...
I'm currently trying to change an IDC table entry from 409233 to 325 however I'm getting error SCH6276
"Warning: External DN of IDC tree not stored in corresponding SDID tree to prevent overwriting existing value. This inconsistency occurs in the SDID tree when more than one external DN...
I'm using OTM 2.20, which at least on our system is fairly buggy...
The listings in Station Administration is woefully out of date so I thought I'd do a download of everything. Most of the info is now correct but a lot of the names didn't update correctly.
I've gone into CPND however a lot of...
Ah. I didn't equate the ACID with a Pos ID. Thought it was some kind of control group on the Switch.
That makes everything clear now.
Thanks to you all.
I'm currently rationalising the numbers in our office to 5xxx however when I reached 5214 I found that a 521 was already in use.
From LD23 I get TYPE ACID TN 3 0 0 10
Bearing in mind I'm a novice at this is it possible (or advisable!) to change the 521 to another number? And how?
Thanks
C
Other than changing the softkey label using the 3905 phone setup options and the keypad is there any other way to change the display of the SCR key from the DN to a text label from one of the Meridian overlays?
Thanks to both of you for your help. We've decided to implement the roving user by way of fowarding their DN to a skillset on Meridian. It's taken several hours but thing we're there.

I've set up a user with a phantom DN in Symposium and created the corresponding entry under LD11 with DN 400. This works perfectly when calling the user internally and either rings on their phone if logged in or goes to voicemail.
I've added digit translation in LD49 similar to all the other...
We've just had installed Desktop Messaging & Fax today on our CallPilot system however the engineer was unable to show us how to set the displayed fax number on sent faxes. For legal resons in the UK we cannot send faxes without having them display a valid fax number and the way our system has...
I though I could just change the POS-ID buy nulling key 00 then reentering it with the new number. Now I've just got fifty odd phones to out.
Many thanks for your fast response guys.
Our phone extension numbers were in the range 200-360. Agent POS-IDs were then created as agent dn+200 ie for a phone extension of 241 the POS-ID would be 441.
Unfortunately we have now increased our phone range to 500 so our numbering scheme is now coming up against errors.
How do I get a...
I've been asked to create a new CDN which will eventually be used by CallPilot to handle multimedia messaging.
Unfortunately I have no experience of using LD23 and am not sure which DFDN to use - or even how to find out what the existing DFDNs listed are (existing ones appear to be either 3XX...
