gnrslash4life, you are right but it appears if they log out of the hunt group on the line on the one phone it still rings on that line appearance on the other phones. I guess its just something we will have to deal with. Thanks.
I have a BCM50 6.0 that occasionally the incoming lines will ring busy until someone presses the line buttons on a phone and gets dial tone. There are 3 lines on the system and I'm told all 3 do this. I had an 1140 minor alarm stating 4.3960:Power Vcc Failed and the problem resolution told me...

As far as I know this phone was not part of the ACD. I don't see it in Contact Center. How do I tell if this extension is on another phone? The best that I can tell it isn't.
Thanks.

Thanks for the responses. I have reset the phones that didn't have the correct address and they picked up a new (correct) address this time. So far no more have shown up wrong so hopefully all is ok.
All but a hand full of the phones are correct. I called our maintenance provider this morning and they didnt know of a way to force the 1140 to get a new IP address. So for the few that were wrong I did the **73639MAC## and when they came back up I put the TN back in and they picked up a correct...
CS1000 7.5 1140e IP phones
Is there a way to force the 1140e IP phones to get a new IP address? We have some that still have an address from the data side and they need an address from the voice side so the location will work correctly.
Thanks.
I only have 1 KEM on my 1165 but the external ps only runs the back light on the KEM. If I disconnect the external ps the phone reboots and I have no back light on the KEM but the buttons still work.
Our maintenance provider is replacing them under the contract at no additional charge but the referbs are not always the best. The 2 or 3 keys she uses all the time are sometimes flakey. Thanks for the replies.
We have an M2250 attendant console on our CS1000 7.5. We have maintenance on the console so if it goes down they will send us a referb but they dont always work well. They are probably worn out too. I'm told by our vendor a new M2250 is no longer available. What is my alternatives?
Thanks.
We found a doc from Nortel called Emergency Services Access that talks about routing outbound calls according to the phones IP address. We are researching that along with what our vendor called Zone Based Dialing to see if one of those will do what we want. Thanks for the reply.
We have a CS1000 7.5 and CallPilot. Our office is seperated in several different buildings connected with glass hallways. Our city 911 center wants be able to identify what building a 911 call comes from. We all share 3 PRIs for incoming and outgoing calls. Our maintance provider says this is a...
