The .143 build should have the correct files, so no modifications should be necessary. If you had a previous version of My CallPilot at that address and were having trouble with it, make sure you empty your browser cache and delete cookies, then try again.
Also, what OS is your server running...
Hi all,
There is a hard-coded cookie expiration date of March 16, 2011 in many of the My CallPilot server files.
We are on My CallPilot 5, and found at least once instance of that date in these files. Some of the files have multiple instances. All of these files are stored under C:\Program...
Thanks for your replies! Yep, I'm the one who will be maintaining this, so I want to keep it easy for myself.
I have asked the vendor who proposed CommScope to also propose something using Panduit NetKey, Hubbell, Leviton, ICC, etc. as a comparison, and to explain any benefits they see to...
I'm planning a cabling install for a local church and school that will consist of about 200 CAT6 runs. I have received proposals from local installers, and I'm looking for some input on the various brands/systems that have been proposed.
One of the vendors has proposed CommScope Uniprise. My...
yyrkroon,
Thanks for the solution.
In my case, I wasn't able to save the changes right away. The file was marked read-only. If anyone runs into that problem, just right-click the file, go to Properties, uncheck the read-only box, and hit OK. Then you should be able to save the changes...
We have a CS1000 Release 6.0 and sometimes have trouble getting into Element Manager. We can always log in to UCM just fine, then clicking the link on the Elements screen to launch Element Manager ("Element Manager on cs1000ss1(Primary Server)") always takes forever. Usually Element Manager...
Thanks all. I knew the TN would change (was thinking we'd copy the 3904 to the virtual TN, then change the copy).
Found the CHGTYP command for changing an IP set to a different IP model.
Looks like we've got some work to do, so I guess we'll get busy!
Thanks again,
Matt
On a CS1000 (Release 6) system, is there any way to change the TN type for a prorammed set? We're upgrading our 3904 digital sets to 1140 IP sets, and it would be nice to copy most of the programming from a person's 3904 set to their 1140 set, without building the new set from scratch; that way...
I'd like to work with our vendor to implement this feature for our softphone users. Can anyone tell me the patch number we need to install to get this working on Release 6?
Thanks,
Matt
We've recently starting having trouble with My CallPilot. Probably two or three times a week, when users try to log in to My CallPilot (the web-based interface for desktop messaging), they get an error:
"Server unavailable (not enough system resources)"
My CallPilot is running on a separate...
Thanks for the link. Apparently my Nortel support account doesn't have access to that part of the site (something to do with Partners I'm guessing, based on the URL). I'll see if I can get a copy from our Nortel rep.
I appreciate it!
--Matt
Could you post a copy or a link to it... or tell me how you found it? I was unable to find it using the search engine on Nortel's support site. When I searched for "2007-0101" I only found documents that referenced that one, not the actual document.
Thanks,
Matt
Does anyone have a link to a current list of approved antivirus products for CallPilot?
The previous document was P-2007-0101-Global, "Call Pilot Support for Anti-Virus Applications", however I could not find this document by searching or browsing on Nortel's support site. (I did find plenty...
Our CallPilot DNs are in the range of 770x, while our DID range is 15xx - 19xx. So, when CallPilot dials out (for remote notification or faxes), the number that gets sent to the network for CLID is invalid (i.e. 402555770x -- those numbers belong to some other company).
I see that the...
Just an update -- Nortel released a new patch for BCM 50 Release 2.0 systems yesterday, BCM050.R200.041-IPMUSIC, that allows you to set the volume of tracks you upload to the system. Installed it this morning, uploaded the tracks again, and it works great!

Have you found any way to adjust the volume on the music you uploaded? On a BCM 50 I have it is way too loud. Callers complained about it so much, we changed to the beeps on hold instead.
Tried decreasing the volume in the file before I uploaded it, but it seems like the BCM is amplifying it...
Hmm... an iPod Shuffle would certainly fit in the space, would be easy for the staff to update but hard to mess up.
I was really impressed with the built-in feature until about the 10th caller complaining about how loud the music was while they were on hold. Now they just get the beeps until I...
