Hi,
I have several OPX lines from our main location running across town to another building we own. We use the lines to allow the users here at our main building to use 4 digit dialing to access the remote building.
Is there anyway I can program the switch so that when someone dials the 4...
Hi,
I recently inherited administering an exchange server. The previous guy had any emails not sent to an account routed to a generic folder that I have to go through everyday. We get hit with a large amount of trash email from two former employees and rather than have to scan through it...
When sending attachments to multiple receivers (through Outlook), is the attachment sent more than once? and does the attachment reside on the exchange server multiple times, thus bogging down the server?
Can you program more than one night service button on a switchboard? I have a location that would like to transfer their calls to different places depending on the time of day, but right now they have one night service button to send calls to one location and they have the physically man the...
This employee is using rich text. I switched to plain text and still could not send outside email. She is the only person having a problem and she says it has been like this since she got the PC. She has no problem with interoffice email.
I am new to Exchange, we are actually using version 5.0 I have one user that is setup for internet email but when she sends out she gets the following message:
The following recipients did not receive the attached mail. Reasons are listed with each recipient:
<COMPLETE@SSSNET.COM>...
This one is weird! I have a user that called and said her phone will not dial at all. She has an analog 8102. I went up, listened to the receiver and started hitting buttons but nothing happened. I brought up another 8102 and plugged it in. It worked fine, case closed. I got another call...
Hi,
One of the sites I oversee is a small Hospice. At night there is usually only two nurses on staff and a lot of things to do. There is a problem with the nurses being away from the nurses station telephone and them being able to hear the phone and get back to it. The Hospice has three long...
I need a little more info. When you say put the FAC on the autodial, what does that mean? I thought FAC was using features through access codes such as "*2 to forward calls"
Hi,
We have a disclaimer attached to all of our outgoing email. I need to edit the content of it but I am unframiliar with where this would be stored. (The real network admin is on vacation and I don't want to bug him over something this trivial)
Being almost totally unframiliar with exchange...
I was looking at the Abbrev-Dial feature and the documentation shows that you can assign this to a button and not enter a dial code (DC) then you just hit the button and the Dc number from your list. This way you could dial any number on your personal list and it would only take up one button...
Some wiring guys were in the phone closet running some cable and one of them was drilling. He must have kicked or pulled something out of the PBX extenstion box because all our phones went dead! He figured out what he did and plugged it back in just as I got upstairs to see what was going on...
Thank you BOTH for your helpful posts. With this being something new that my company is looking into to monitor customer service calls, I have never seen the warning tones option before. Once I changed this the tones were gone. Thank you both very much!
We have a definity G3 with Service Observing Basic active. I have set up a COR to be monitored and another one to monitor. When I use it, there is a beep heard on the monitored line and then additional beeps every minute or so. Can the tones be eliminated so that calls can be monitored...
