Some wiring guys were in the phone closet running some cable and one of them was drilling. He must have kicked or pulled something out of the PBX extenstion box because all our phones went dead! He figured out what he did and plugged it back in just as I got upstairs to see what was going on. The phones came back up but now the displays (which normally show the time) does not work unless you make or receive a call. How can I get this to be displayed again when the phone is not in use?

The system is in the process at this time of testing all the phones. Once this process finishes with the phones in question they will show the display again. Or you could run a test or unplug and plug the phones back in .

Hi Johnny,

Sometimes this will also happen of it's own accord as well and if you "status station" it will be stuck in download pending mode - a busy/release station will resolve this.

Hope this helps,

Chris
