Has anyone done a factory reset on one of these? If so how? Through command line.
I cannot seem to find instructions anywhere.
Brand new hardware, I messed up in a couple of settings, just feel like I want to wipe it and start from scratch. It will be a learning process as I have used...
THANKS for the response Lundah.
This should be interesting. I had to order out the male/female adapters for the VG450. Those things stand off so far that they don't screw in and the velcro tabs aren't long enough to completely secure it tight. I was told to glue another piece of velcro on...
Unfortunately, after almost 25 years of faithful service, we are switching our hotel analog phone system from the Mitel SX2000 to a Cisco VG450. Mitel SX2000, 16 rooms per card and reflects that in the punches on the blocks and Amphenol cables... we have the female/male adapters for the...
I tell you, since they switched to Cisco for our primary business phone systems, I miss Mitel. I cannot believe we switched to Cisco considering the fact they had Mitel in place for well over 22 years (back in 2020). It took them 3 years to make the switch for hotel side in order to use it with...
After almost a quarter century, our company is moving to Cisco VG450 for analog lines in our hotels. Not a project to which I am looking forward. I have a question about changing out some cards in the SX2000.
Cisco has the ability to use 24 pins in the Amphenol cables while Mitel utilizes...

Has anyone ever seen this? If so, could you please tell me what it is? I'm looking for it online and in the books but I cannot seem to find anything on it at the moment.
Release 7.0
software load 13.0..28
It is connected to the SX2000 light.
Thanks!!
ISSUE SOLVED!!! Thanks guys for the replies.
I went in and unplugged the ASU. Removed the Amphenol plugs from the cards. Made sure cards were set properly. Blew out the connectors on the cards and the cable ends with canned air. Cleaned both connectors with alcohol. Reseated the Amphenol...
Thanks for the response.
Yeah, that was one of my first thoughts too after toning everything. I went back and "repunched" everything again and followed a chart because I second guessed myself on the order of the pairs.
I can call from an IP phone at the business and it shows proper extension...

T1 Smart Jacks for LD and Local
Client required move from "phone room" that was occupied by systems for over 20 years, to new data center. T1 for local and LD.
Successful move to new location. New Smart Jacks and cable ran about a year...
Telco was it. THANKS!!!
I did a check on digital trunks on Local and LD.
Did a STATE 6 1 X X on both LD and LOCAL.
Local came up the first 2 trunks (1 & 2 out of 23) fluctuating between IDLE and UNREACHABLE.
Did a BUSY and RTS command and it helped momentarily then started fluctuating again...
I will definitely check with Telco on this one.
I looked through ARS Digits, Routes and COR and everything else under the sun and I am at a loss.
Thanks,
Will be checking.
This is a weird one. I have not seen this problem before except for this client about 2 months ago. Maybe someone has encountered it here...
The following has been an issue with this client...
Mitel Version 14.0.0.97
Dual T1/E1 Framer
This was not an issue prior to changing out to a T1/E1...
Hello all.
Mitel 3300 MXeIII version 13.0.1.28.
Installed a T1/E1 card about a month ago because the old NSUII finally died at that time.
THE ISSUE IS... When dialing Local and 800 numbers, phones get access denied. Try a second time immediately after by either manually dialing or pressing...
I will try that.
Thanks for the heads up on the RDN. What problems could that cause or do I not want to know?
I may have found my problem. Sifting through the many Call Forwarding Profiles, I found a reference to 2003. Hopefully, this may be it.
Thanks for the response.
Hello, It's been awhile.
"Controller 1" is being upgraded to version 14.0.0.97. It is in a cluster with a few other controllers at various locations. There are three 5550 Consoles and they are not compatible with this version unless licenses of some type are purchased. Apparently expensive...
About 9 years ago, a couple of people that were taking care of the Mitel 3300 at one of the locations, lost an ibutton to the "resilient box". (MXe machines) This particular operation is 24 hours and should see little if ANY downtime. They have purchased a virtual license, I will be setting...
