TOTALLY different! The platform was redesigned. You need to take the class that is for the version you are/will be using.
Major changes include the route plans, hunt programming, BARS changes, mobile connect PLUS 6.X is Linux based, not windows!
Jeter's got it right, I think. You need to go to call routing/route filter/Find. Choose the one that includes long distance area codes and add clause. A new window will pop up. You add what you need to and save.
Attached is the link to the Cisco documentation for Time of Day routing, which sounds like what you are attempting to do. You said that you tried and it did not work. Maybe you missed something.
As with all CUCM versions there's multiple steps to accomplish one task. Sometimes you get lost...
Hi,
I use a Hunt Pilot (using an available DID) that has one list, line group members would be all the DNs for voicemail ports.
That's what we have here and it works great.

Also, verify you have the correct device type. It's on the bottom of the phone.
A 7941G will not register if you program the device as a 7941G-GE. (G 10/100, G-GE 1G)

Make sure you have the MAC address right in CUCM and the port you are plugging into is configured for voice.
Two very common reasons for registration rejected.
I admin'd a 3.4 and now a 6.0 so I can't give you step by step. Sorry!
It does sound like the phone is not seeing CM to get it's configs.
You can try setting up CM to auto register the phone. The should be a setting in CCMAdmin/Server/CM Group or something along those lines. The links below...
Did you follow the steps to install in CUCM first?
Sounds like the phone doesn't know who it is!
You can try using auto-register. You'd need to make the change in CUCM first.
What version of CUCM are you running?
The instructions are very different for 5X/6X from previous versions.
You...

The GK class has requirements listed on their website for the ACCMU class. They are:
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of the Windows 2000 operating system, TCP/IP, and IP telephony concepts is required. No router experience is required. You do not need to know Cisco's router command line...
I have to agree with the last post. I took the ACCMU class in Jan specifically for CUCM 6.0/Unity 5X. It was well designed, the labs and the instructor were great.
I also took class for Nortel in Richardson, TX back in the day.
The ACCMU is a hybrid of several Global Knowledge classes just...
I took the ACCMU class at Global Knowledge and it was great. It's a 5 day class geared towards practical training to admin CUCM and Unity. Not sure what version of CM and Unity you are using. If CME, they have classes for that too.
Sorry - There's an option at the bottom of the end user config where you add groups under permissions information. You can add standard CTI there.
I'm ASSUMING 5X CCM Admin is similar to 6X.
Good Luck!
I just set this up for myself.
I'm running CUCM 6.0. I had to install the TSP, associate my phone with my end user in CM as well as set to controll my primary extension, then install the wave drivers in add new hardware/sound and audio devices. Only after rebooting I saw my phone as a device...
