hi guys hope you can help me out. i'm having a hard time asking the guy who set this stuff up for help because he's an ass. basicly what i need to do is setup a phone number for an office so agents can call in and check there voice messages. i've done the route pattern to a DID number thats not in use but i still need to know what to do on the unity server. please any help is appreciated. also maybe a guide or where i can get one to set up most of the stuff. i can't rely on those guys because they act cocky.

Hi,

I use a Hunt Pilot (using an available DID) that has one list, line group members would be all the DNs for voicemail ports.

That's what we have here and it works great.

there are different ways to handle the call once it is in Unity. You can use the routing rules and make a forwarded rule that matches the dialed-number, or an combination, and send it to Sign-in. Call viewer will help in figuring out the Forwarded rule.

Another option is to create a Call Handler and give it the same extension as the DID/ext in Callmanager. Use a blank greeting, after call, send to Sign-in.

I am pretty sure there are different ways, but these are two suggestions.

Good call on sending the call to Sign In. DUH, on my part. Forwarding Rule is what we have set up in Unity.
