We are having an issue with one of our Clans. We recently removed most of our clan boards and are using the Procr for registrations now. But we still have a few in place. One for Ecas, one for Redsky and one for Modular. The board in question is the Modular board.
It keeps showing an error 2817...
This is more of a general advice question.
We have to change our dial plan as we currently are using several numbers in the 1000 block for access codes.
The change is pretty straight forward and we will simply be adding a 1 in front of the code and changing the dial plan to allow for 4 digits...
Textron,
Unfortunately I tried that and it doesnt help.
Avayatier3,
If it is software corruption, how do I go about resolving it? Reconnect the cabinet and then try to remove it?
( The port does not show up under list mark )
I am having an issue removing an EPN.
I have performed change circuit-packs and was able to remove all other equipment but have 1 TN2224 Digital line card that shows
" " Must remove translation on the board before changing circuit pack type.
There are no extensions assigned to this board as...
Well, We discovered a solution. Ill write it in if anyone finds this at a later time.
We had 2 seperate issues occuring, the one mentioned above getting Bad FileSv Address was an issue with our DHCP scope. There was an entry for DSN Domain name. The newer phones were searching only that...

I am having what seems to be the exact same issue.
We are using CM
System: G3xV13 Software Version: R013x.01.5.642.3
I am trying release 3.1 on the firmware side but have also tried older releases and there is no difference.
Basically a 9620 phone works perfectly...
Thanks. We finally figured it out. We found some issues with the otpion 242 settings. Wrong range for IP's. We also removed the TLSSRVR= piece. We still had issues with the system not pulling a voice vlan ip but that was resolved by inserting an IPhelper address into the layer 3 switch I...
Yes. That is part of what I am trying to do. I have placed the upgrade files on our httpserver and the phone would connect to the c-lan and let you insert an extension but would not seem to find the http server and get its updates or settings. When I statically assigned the http server...
Upon further reading it appears I add in "HTTPPORT=81" but still not certain where exactly or if it matters.
But since we are using phones that seem to be release 1.5 they will have to upgraded to 2.0 before they will even recognize the command... At least that is what I gathered from...
Where exactly would that be programmed into the 242 if you dont mind me asking? Obviously I am not the one who wrote the option and I am a little ignorant in that area.
Another thing to note. We have no issues with the 16xx phones. They find the file server fine. To verify I cleared all the settings and let it re-register through DHCP and it worked properly.
Also a seperate question on the 96xx phones.. Can you still use commands such as (mute,v,i,e,w,#) and...
I searched several posts and could not come up with a definite answer here so I decided to post my question and hopefully have it stated specifically.
I am running Cm 3.1.5
We have a few hundred 16xx series ip phones and we are trying to install some 96xx series ip phones now as well. My...
Could someone give me a quick rundown on the step required to convert an EPN into ip connect.
Currently. Our EPNs are connected with a ds1-c and exp-int card in each cabinet. I suppose it would require swapping out the maintenance board to a TN775D and adding an IPSI and Medpro card.... I was...
Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.
Here is our problem. A few weeks ago we noticed our MWI was not working properly, we found that our servers were also interchanging every hour or two as well. We found and fixed a network problem that seemed to be causing the issue with the...
The distance is only a few miles and we have our own fiber transport equipment. I apologize if what I am saying doesnt make much sense, I am rather new to this company. It is a 10gig WAN with 1G sub rings. My knowledge base is not very strong and I wouldnt think things are incorrectly connected...
I am working on an issue we are having. We have an SNI board connected to a DS1-C that is connected over our fiber network to another DS1-C and then to an Exp-Intf card.. This EI card keeps alarming. Sometimes twice a day and it is affectiong service. It seems to clear upon busy/reset/releasing...
I am no expert but here is something I found out, if you set a phone to delayed ring, 1: call-appr you need to set the field (Auto-A/D? n) to Yes. I dont think this directly resolves your issue but its a field I changed that fixed my problem from a previous date.
