It has been a while since I could get to this. Now I am ready to work on it. Can anyone tell me how to set up the Auto Attendant in MerMail? Thanks in advance for your help.
I've got another question. If I set up the "Auto Attendant" with an ACD of say 1000 and I set it up a "Thru-Dialer", once the person dials the extension they would like to reach will the 1000 number be freed up to accept another call. There are going to be a total of 10 internal extensions (they...
Can someone point me in the right direction? I have an OPT 81C with Meridian Mail and would like to set up what I think is called "Auto Attendant."
I have a customer who has 10 extensions and 4 DID's. They would like outside callers to call a number, lets say 1000 and hear a message like, "You...
I've tested each DSL by unplugging the corresponding the corresponding line and L1 goes down when I STAT the DSL. When I reconnect it L1 goes up when I STAT the DSL. I am going to do a force load on the MISP and see if that changes anything.
I have a CS1000M that I have set up for ISDN BRI service to work with some VTC equipment. I cannot get it to see a layer 2 connection. The verzion of software on the system is 7.0. I am starting to wonder if I have a card release and software incompatability isse. If any one can give me some...
OK, then maybe I did something wrong. I have an MISP installed in network group 1 loop 58, I have a BRSC card installed in IPE 48-0 with 5 UILC cards. I should be able to assoiciate at least 3 more UILC cards to the MISP. I tried to install a UILC card in IPE 112-1 and got an error that said in...
Thanks,
Just for clarification, let me see if I understand this correctly.
So, I can put an MISP card in Network group 1-1, let's say loop 58, and install UILC line cards in any shelf, lets say 20-0 or 24-1?
Thanks for the reply, that is what I thought but was not sure. If the core/net module is full then can I put the MISP in another network group and point the line cards to it?
I’m looking to install ISDN line service at a location that I work at and have some questions. I need to provide 6 ISDN BRI lines for two separate video tele-conferencing (VTC) systems. The switch is an Option 61C that was later upgraded to an 81C.
I know the steps and everything to set up ISDN...
Buddy,
No, I do not want the phone to auto answer. I just need to have analog sets work like a HOT D, but they are accessing the GROUP CALL feature without the need to dial a FLEXIBLE FEATURE CODE.
Thanks,
Greg
Thanks all, I'm reading up on the Group Call feature and was wondering if I could use a Hot Line to initiate the Group Call. In other words it doesn't matter what phone picks up the receiver, it will initiate the Group Call. Is this possible?
Thanks for all the ideas. I'm still re-searching and looking for a solution. All phones must ring when any single phone receiver is picked up.
Please keep the ideas coming.
bhassell2000,
Not sure if doing a HOT D to a certain phone will work or not. I know that all phone will be able to listen to the call, but will their respective phones call out if they pick up the receiver. Each individual phone must be able to ring all other phones just by picking up the...
KCFLHTK,
The user would like it to work like a HOT D. They want a red phone without and dial pad in like five different locations. It doesn't matter what location picks up the receiver, all other phones need to ring and all parties should be able to talk to each other. They have purchased the...
I have the need to some how tie about 5 phones together, preferably analog, so that if any of the phones pick up the receiver all other phones ring, and all phones can talk to each other like a party line.
I need to do this on an Option 81C.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
