Okay, so even though the phone's status is "registered" does this mean a special license on the Avaya IP 500 is required to allow it to work properly? I still can't get it to dial out or receive calls.
Thanks! I got the device registered with our Avaya IP Office 500. It has a dial tone, when making a call it doesn't do anything but say sending.
I tried entering the 8 for an outside line and using all 10-digits, but still can't make calls.
We just purchased a conference phone, the YeaLink 860. I plugged it into the PoE, and it booted up with an IP address of our LAN. It receives a dial tone, but cannot dial out. I logged into the web UI and it looks like it requires account information to be inputted to go online.

We have a few users that pickup the handset and hear a couple beeps. They do not have any voice mail. Do the beeps mean there's voicemail on another mailbox, if so, how do you know which mailbox?
Thanks.
Thanks. Question. 47-12 currently has routing mailbox set to 1, but we don't know where that points?
47-03 has no mailbox extensions, but routing mailbox set to 1. Is station one whatever is in 47-02 has the first entry?

We would like our main line ring all the phones, or at least a group of phones. I have dug through the Web UI, but can't find this options. We have about 32 receivers.
Thanks,

Initially the calls using VOIP sound crisp and clear, but the longer the user is on the phone, the worse the calls get. There are delays and fragmentation of the voice that eventually is not practical to continue the call.
Yes, it was that easy. Thanks. At one time all the contacts displayed, and for some reason I thought it automatically downloaded the contacts from the Avaya database.
Thanks for the response, but I do not see a way to program the buttons. If I remember correctly, the last time this was working, it would display a list of contacts from the contacts database and incoming calls would also show up on the sidecar. There is nothing but a lit LCD.
Hello,
I just installed this module on a 9611G phone for our receptionist. It worked before, but has not been used for at least a year. I plugged it in and all the lights come on and respond with a tone, but nothing is displayed on the LCD contacts.
I was able to change the brightness for...
Thanks Joe! I read your post after making the transfer change. I was having trouble finding the right version to make changes, but was able to download the IP Office Light for free. I am not sure if you can make changes with version 9.0.0 and a config 9.0.5, but I downloaded 9.1 light.
Our phone system during business hours goes to a hunt group called CSR. Until recently the called would hear a ring upon dial 0 to reach that group. No the user dials 0 and the phone rings the CSR group, but there is dead air.
We never configured the telephony to play hold music, but the...
