I tried to run compiled map form shell prompt using "mercator" command.
But couldn't find an option to mention, i/p file name.
e.g. I've a map, which reads comma seperated records of contacts and creates o/p as 4 lines for each record.
first line will have : lastname,firstname

I've mercator 6.5 installed. I couldn't find mcompile.exe on my system.
Is there any thing, add-on i need to install to have mcompile?

I guess I'm missing something on my enviornment.
I'm not able to find mcompile command. I've mercator studio installed on my windows and eventserver and other enviornment is on unix m/c as well.
Can you point me to where (which libs) i should check out to make sure that I've mcompile command...

I need to build a script..which will take/read .mms files from my CVS directory and compile them to .mmc file and write compiled files in another directory.
My Qs:
1) Does anyone has done this before, so that he/she can guide me.
2) I'm not sure, how to compile maps from command...
e.g. if i launch event server monitor, it ask me to configure/specify event server to monitor. am not sure, how to run this server , even how to check whether I've event server installed on my local m/c.

It's on XP, Mercator6.5, Yes I've already installed studio on my local m/c.
It shows me event server monitor menu as well..under mercator6.5- -> menu. Also it has mgmt console.
Am not aware of HIPAA Integration Package.

I got the SWIFT pack now, SWIFT_ISO7775.mtt But still I'm not able to see SWIFT tree as like :

above compoenents aren't there yet.
Whenever I open my .mtt files, with SWIFT messages using type designer, it shows as normal trees and not with above...

How do I make sure that I've SWIFT pack with it. Is there any way to check some libraraies or like when I go to Start --> Program --> Mercator --> studio and it'll show me option for SWIFT trees?
As of now, it shows MAp Designer, Type Designer, Type Tree Maker etc etc.
I'm using Mercator 6.5 while SWIFT version , am not quite sure. When I was going thru docs on SWIFT, I noticed document saying :"The S.W.I.F.T. type tree is automatically installed during installation of the Design Studio".
