Hi All,

I tried to run compiled map form shell prompt using "mercator" command.

But couldn't find an option to mention, i/p file name.

e.g. I've a map, which reads comma seperated records of contacts and creates o/p as 4 lines for each record.
first line will have : lastname, firstname
second line: Company name
third line: st address
4th line: city and state

Any help.

Hello,

If I understand the post, you need an input file override. Look at the Execution Commands reference guide.

Jesse,

Yup, I want to specify i/p file as argument for the command.

-I{A|F|E|D|MMQS}x[Sy][[![W]][X[0]][Rc:i] <src> --
override input card x's source with <src>.

I tried : mercator testMap.mmc -I input.text

it says, invalid command line.

Use

mercator testMap.mmc -IF1 input.text

the 'F' indicates its coming from a file, the 1 is the input card number.

Cheers,
Olly.
