just my 2 cents
if lines ring on two different exts., calls will fna to the mailbox of the lower numbered ext. that's why it goes to 230's instead of 240's mbox.
that is why 221 is usually assigned as the operator with the general del mbox.
you can do it two ways:
1. "the not-so-easy-way"
Set-up a Central Answering Position (CAP). The CAP is an alternative to the M2250 and must be a 2616.
You set-up an ACD queue with the CAP as an agent. Operator logs off the CAP queue --> queue on nite --> call answering is controlled by the NCFW...
if i'm not mistaken, only an opt 11c has a "dongle" ??
is this what you need?
Set system ID
Each Meridian 1 system has a unique system ID number (SID) selected from 0000 to 9999. The 4-digit ID number can be printed or set by the following commands.
To print the current SID: TSID sid

arugg,
you mentioned that you "have issues with new sets" ( i'm assuming its newly programmed/installed sets?) - have you done a side-by-side tn comparison with the "old" sets?
If you call the number for the trunk hooked-up to tn 2 4, where does the call go? or who picks it up?
The lines that get tied-up, is it always the same dialed dn?
Maybe an unsupervised transfer or conference?
John,
I've done NCFW on an ACD numerous times. On some it works on others it wont - on the ones that it won't work, I get a fast busy. My question is, where do I fix it - in LD 90?
the customer wants to hook-up the CPilot to his LAN and enable him and us to maintain his system remotely through the internet. the question is, which port does he turn-on on his router or firewall to enable this? he already gave me a private ip address ( 172.16.10.25 ) which i changed in the...
First off, before looking at what type of phone the station has...shouldn't you be checking what type of incoming line it has?
if its a DID...no problem, just follow the prevous posts re programming for digital or analog phones.
if its a COT...then check how many lines auto-terminate on this...
i'm confused...
An INBOUND call is someone calling INTO the BUSINESS. Let's say INBOUND call goes to the operator, looks for someone, then the operator PARKS the call. Whereas an OUTBOUND call is someone calling from inside the business to the OUTSIDE world. Why would you park an outgoing...
hurricaneguy,
have you tried putting a TRAC/TRAK both on the cpilot port and the trunk its dialing out on?...do you see the digits that it's outpulsing?...do you have regular co or PRI lines?
btw, my cpilot tn has 3 for NCOS.
goodluck!
just my two cents worth...
recvd # length on a MICS means the number of digits you will be receiving from telco. it doesn't have anything to do with your phone number.
e.g.
if your did range is from 853-1212 thru 1300, and telco is sending you the last 4 digits (1212, 1213, 1214...) then the...
