We are trying to forward an internal analog DN to an 800 number at another facility. We are able to create the DN/TN, but when we apply the feature DCFW 16 91800xxxxxxx we always get a SCH5199. Can anyone please tell us what we are missing?? Thanks in advance for your help...

cls cfxa then use rcfw to forward the dn

faster..

new
acd
0
1000
maxp 1
ncfw 91800xxxxxxxx

that would forward 1000 to the 1800 number.. no tn

Make sure it's removed from any other programming before trying to build the phantom

I use an ACD Queue with 1 agent and program the NCFW instead of Phantom.

Thanks for all of the reply's!!! I tried to do the shorter way that Johnpoole and acewarlock suggested, but I get a SCH0099 when I try to enter ACD. Do I need to be in a certain LD - I am now in 20? Thanks again

To create ACD, you use LD 23 and then NCFW to that external number you want.

You have to out the DN first so you can make an ACD with that DN.

LD 23

i am doing this as well but it wont forward, i just get a fast busy, what am i missing, i have verified the 800 number as well as the ACD # and both are good working numbers but as soon as i call the ACD when forwarded outside it wont work

thanks

Are you inserting your AC1 code? before the 800#?

ie...91800xxxx

Nortel "Best Practices" suggests to not use ACD, but to use Phantoms for this type function in the latest software versions

if i worked for nortel i would agree.. burn a license.. we've been using maxp 1 acd for 30 years without a prrblem.. the best thing about acd is i control the ncfw. allowing rcfw and cfxa is the user can bypass toll by cfxa to 9..

John,

I've done NCFW on an ACD numerous times. On some it works on others it wont - on the ones that it won't work, I get a fast busy. My question is, where do I fix it - in LD 90?

When you call the new ACD, where are you calling from? Are you calling from a station; if so, does it have the proper settings to use the route you're going out on 9-1800, etc? That stations NCOS, FRL, TGAR, etc could be blocking the call.

If you're calling the new ACD from outside (IE, the ACD is a DID number or you have an auto attendant), then the TRUNK you come in on must have an acceptable NCOS, TGAR, etc to use the route that you're going out when it dials 9-1800.

Hope that helps.

no fix it in the cdb option.. cff and cfo.. when you use maxp 1 acd the inbound trunk has to have an ncos high enough to make the call.. if your using phantom then cff lets the ncos of the station control the call.. one maxp 1 work around is to ncfw to the acod of the route instead of 9 plus the number.. that bypasses frl in the rlb..

don't take me wronge, there is never one right way to do anything in this box and there is seldom a best way to do anything... we all have out preferences and habits.. i've learned that somethings are easier to control or trouble shoot if they are consistant.. we sell software for a living, when i started at this site they had 300 plus phantoms.. now we have 2.. not a good sales job, but i sleep well
