I am doing the same thing you are attempting to do. Maybe we should talk some. For the same reasons mentioned early-on in this thread I chose not to go with E-business manager. I will be doing the VI "pull" from an SQL server. I know that to automate the pull will be a challenge...
possibly, have you extended the desktop to a second monitor. The symptoms you are describing sound similar to that prob.
If it is not, make sure your display adapter has config for 1 monitor.

Our implementation of MAS90 had a bunch of UDF's. I did some preliminary research prior to install and found out about things like where UDF's from IM_90 will move to. I had read that they were included in IM.ITEM. In reality I have found they moved to CI.ITem.

We recently converted from 3.71 to 4.10...After installing and going into User Defined Field Maintenance and then into inventory management I notice I have only one choice "I/M Warehouse Detail". Should I have additional choices? Like Im.Item etc. and if so how do i fix this?

You can search by description and it will bring up the corresponding id. Just open the drop-down box when you bring up the search window.
A couple of suggestions on the challenges you face:
1) You have 15 characters to use for inventory item codes. Be consistent across your idents...
I am trying to figure out when the *.m4t files are used...I just converted and i am re-creating some reports in crystal. When I do so, for example in inventory I use IM_ITEM but get no data returned. Instead I see I still need to use IM1.

just ran into the same problem, I localized the problem to two workstations. In one case when the user executes mas90, the application locks for all users on the network. In the second case mas90 locks happen when the user attempts to print Sales Orders.
