mas90 *.m4t files

I am trying to figure out when the *.m4t files are used...I just converted and i am re-creating some reports in crystal. When I do so, for example in inventory I use IM_ITEM but get no data returned. Instead I see I still need to use IM1.

Am I missing something? What is the purpose of these .m4t files and why are they listed in the data dictionary?

M4T means MAS version 4 Tables.

thanks for your response. Are there any Sage publications on the file structure for 4.x that you know of? Not talking about TRSG. More like "here is the new version and here is what we have changed" type of document/

Yes. Look in the Help folder of your current install.

In ..\mas90\help there is a FileLayouts.chm plus cross reference tables.
