I had to make a change to the PBX to accept a new area code that was an overlay to our existing. In doing that we can no longer dial numbers as local and have to treat them as long distance. So...a menu I had built that uses ACD, MAXP is set to 1, then NCFW goes to a Phantom DN. That phantom...

Indiana is adding a new area code to the 812 area code as like everyone else we're running out of numbers. So a business accross the street from us could be a different area code, and 10 digit dialing will be required. I know how to add the area code, in fact it's already there...
Yes, it's on forc now in the ACD queue programming, however, I guess I forgot to explain this part, they will no longer be ACD. The call distribution will be handled by our hosted solution with Oracle, which is basically passing the calls to DID numbers assigned to the agent's phones.
I have an Option 61C, Succession 3, basic ACD (since 1991). We are finally moving to a hosted soltution for our call center. Yesterday Oracle dropped the bomb that the agents had to remain off hook in order to get the normal beep in their headset to let them know a call was coming in. this...
OK...I'm getting the phantom number now, showing up after the caller's caller ID. one question - GHTROUT - the answer above says:
CNDD DNDA will show the Caller ID of the caller, but the "name" of the last number called in a redirection situation.
Did you mean CNDD DNDA will NOT show the...
OK, I tried the IDC back to the DNIS number after naming them, and that didn't work either. I'm not sure I want to mess with the route...and I don't know what load that is.
I may try the next suggestion, GHTROUT - do you mean I would put the phantom on the last menu choice (as there can be...
OK, tried that and it didn't help. Still showed the caller ID of the caller, and not the TFN or DNIS. I do have all my TFNs going to different DNIS, with different menus. But, some of the menu choices end up in the same queue, and could be the same agents answering mulitple lines. That's why...
Did a search and could not find an answer, so does anyone know if it's possible to show the number the customer called when making menu choices in an ACD environment? I have an Option 61C, Succession 3, but only using basic ACD from the early 1990's..I use CallPilot for my menus - with...
Currently I have my ACD reports dumping to a file from a TTY port(I'm using basic ACD - from 1992 on an upgraded 61C Meridian PBX). We have a huge recall going on and they want this particuular ACD group to print on Saturday, as they are working limited hours. I don't know where or if you can...
OK, I'll try all of that. I do see I have my target queue set for MAXP 2, I'll change that. Do you see anything else that I've done wrong, here are the two ACD: 6772 is the first target and the overflow is 6801.
TYPE ACD
CUST 0
ACDN 6772
MWC NO
DSAC NO
MAXP 2
SDNB NO
BSCW NO

For my test I had MAXP set to 1 for the target ACD, and the OVDN for the new ACD set to 1. I was able to call the queue number and get the first agent, put her on hold, called the queue again and got the agent who was logged on to the OVDN queue. So that tells me the overflow is working. I then...
I have the same issue, however I need to let at least 16 agents take calls, then overflow to an outside number. Is there a way to do this? It appears IFDN is my best bet. I tried to use a queue with MAXP 1,had it set as the OVDN, had one agent logged in, and that queue was NCFW to the 800...

I've set up a new extension range in another facility, added the new range to the numbering plan, and built one of the extensions on a phone. Built one of the extensions here, after adding it to the numbering plan, I'm able to call the extension using menu choices, the number can dial out...
I need to get rid of one that is causing a conflict, I'm not ever sure where to print them out, which I want to do before deleting. (so I'll know too where to build it back if needed.) Thanks in advance..
