This should be a really simple question to answer. I started a new thread because my question has essentially changed. I need to know where in Aloha Manager I can assign revenue centers to order modes.
It's not under Maintenance->System->Order Modes. It's not under Maintenance->System->Revenue...
This is what revenue centers shows me. And that edit button is just the button that you press to edit that particular entry. For example, in the first screenshot below the edit button hasn't been hit yet since i'm still selecting the "code". In the second one I hit it, so the save and cancel...
See, I thought I would be able to assign each order mode to a revenue center. That sounds like how it should be done. And I've seen a bunch of things online that say just go into order mode settings and assign it to a revenue center. But there's no option for assigning a revenue center in order...
We take orders at the counter. Customers in line place orders for here and to go at the same terminals. We I thought of that solution, but that would require the employee to log out and log back in depending on wether the order is for dine in or take out. That slows down speed of service way too...
Is there a way to split my product mix report by order mode? For example, if entrees come with a cold side (potato salad, etc) that comes in a monkey dish if it's for here or a 4oz soufflé cup when it's to go, I want to see how many of each side we typically do to go so that we can have a par...
Our ATO module currently only prints the promise time at the bottom of ATO kitchen chits. I want it to also print the promise date.
Our Aloha Online site increases the prep time for orders over $200 to 20 hours so that customers can't place large orders that we can't handle for the same day...
Unchecked those and refreshed this morning. The terminal stopped asking for verification codes.
Interestingly enough, my staff told me that it only happens on one terminal. This terminal is also the one that wouldn't read loyalty cards but would read credit cards. At this point I'm thinking I...
My terminals (running 6.7.53) suddenly are asking for zip code and CVV for all credit card transactions, not just manually entered ones. On VISA, MC, Discover, and Amex card types under the security verifications tab they all have "Enter Address Verification Code" and "Enter Security Code"...
Those are still amazing prices. NCR's vendor, who they basically told me I had to buy from, charged somewhere around $700 for 1000. No wonder you were happy with the deal. Thanks for the tip!
You can comp gift cards in the same way that you comp everything else in Aloha. You'll need a comp for gift cards that are activated within Aloha otherwise your checkouts will end up being off at the end of the night.
First you need to set up your gift card item, whether it's an eCard within...
It wasn't a software issue. I had already opened a ticket with Aloha Enterprise and they said it was a track 1/track 2 hi/lo-coercivety issue. It ended up being a hardware issue, although I'm not exactly sure what. I just opened up the terminal, unscrewed the reader from the front face, pushed...
One of my terminals, a Radiant P1220, has recently stopped reading only loyalty/gift cards. Credit cards still read fine. I can manually enter card information and the cards are read on other terminals, so it's not a software issue. NCR support said that the readers have two tracks, and that...
Self print test came out the same as the chit on the right. It's all horizontally compressed and duplicated 7 times. Swapped it in place of a working Epson T88 and it still prints the same. I'm pretty sure the control board is shot.
Sheerdyn it's not an impact printer. The chit on the left is...
One of my thermal printers, a Bixolon PR10135, started off the day just fine this morning. After two tickets it started printing this:
The one on the left is from my Epson U220B (non-thermal) just to show what the content should look like. The one on the right is from the thermal. If you look...
I went into the settings for D:\bootdrv and in the security settings gave every group or user name I could full control. I also set up a user with the name "customer" in the BOH, since this is the username the terminals use. I gave that full control too.
What made everything click was on Term3...
I turned off Term2 and Term1 said "Cannot locate master terminal. Trying to recover." I let this go for about 2 minutes before shutting down and restarting Term1 to see if it would restart as master without Term2 on. Term1 came up and was determining fileserver for 5+ minutes. I turned on Term2...
Thanks, Ross. I posted the whole thing just in case. This is debout.20150113.20. I would have posted debout.20150113.20 but it just ends after about the 20th "CalculatePromosCompsDiscountsToEntryPricing(): unable to get comptype for id 13"
Jan 13, 09:32:30, [7148], [INFO],,"order_items COULD...
I have Aloha QS 6.7.53 with 3 terminals. Everything was running fine until yesterday morning when I came in and "Determining Fileserver" was showing on Term3 and had been counting up for two hours (about the amount of time since EOD ran).
I can ping the terminal from the command line in BOH and...
