Be sure to punch down all the pairs of each cable,in case you need to expand a station location in the future, for things like a fax,DSL etc.
I would also do the same for the cable coming in from the Demark.
Good Luck

I would check with your local Graybar about this, since you do not state where you are located.
They will be able to inform you about which cable producers make the riser Cat6 with the pair count you require and if you can get it in PL or PVC at the best price.

For your information:
Agilent made the Wirescope but has ceased doing so, and will not give support for them in another year ( we were notified by them since we own two at this time ( they both test copper and fiber)).

The expense for a good quality certification tester is more than worth the cost when spread over several jobs.
1. You can include a cable certification test cost in your esitmates, or charge a small fee ( we charge $5.00 per cable tested ).

I always advise to use T-1 two pair sheilded cable with a Rj48X on both ends so you can use data patch cords at the demark box and at the switch ends.

A good way to find out where you may get it the cheapest is to go to the maker, pick out the unit, and look for distributors, contact them and see who can do the best for you.
A good copper/fiber tester that you select will depend upon the one YOU like.

You should always use a different room for your Data/voice items.
Reasons(just to name a few):
1. RFI

3. Access for adds,moves,changes (cable and trays,etc)
4. Possible shock hazard to cabling,IT personal as they are not electricians and do not know the safety requirements, etc when...
Since my last post to you I found the following site and it does show a termination using crimpers....
You may want to check it out.

You may want to contact Excel and see if they have a tech sheet on installation for the fiber connectors. I went to the site and all I could find was that these connectors take either a 'hot melt' type treatment or a 'new cold' treatment BUT nothing is said about a crimper.

I wonder why the sheilded cable too,
We install a lot of VOIP solutions using either Cat5E or Cat6 with no problem, nor the added expense of a sheilded system.

To tie between IDF(s)(as you are doing(cab to cab)), I would go ahead and use as many four pair cables as needed from panel to panel. The seath on the cable keeps the pairs twist ratio around one another to the point of termination and to undo it (as you would have to if you use the 25 pair)...
The confusion is that there is a RJ45S type of pin out config for certain voice applications, which don't seem to apply in this case.

On my last post,I forgot to mention that you may want to check the cable you are using from your tester ends to the panel ports. If you are testing for Cat6,then you want to be sure and use Cat6 patch cords.
