    P-Asserted-Identity

Hi, I have a configuration issue in a call scenario where a user has Forward Unconditional to an external number. The ITSP supports CLIP no screening when the "P-Asserted-Identity" header is configured for inbound external calls, this way the CLIP of the original caller is shown on the screen...

Avaya IPO FAQ for Voicemail to Email - Testing SMTP mail server authentication

Sometimes you need to test this from the application server or the C110 directly, e.g. when the SMTP server only accepts mails from that ip address or when a firewall is in play. Unfortunately Telnet isn't installed by default. Though, you can install it manually. First we need to find the...

    Migrating Licenses to PLDS

The ADI to PLDS license migration proces requires to upload a specific file in One Source. This file is obtained with an IP Office Manager R10. The procedure doesn't state that the licenses on the IP Office should be valid when using the license migration tool. In other words, you shouldn't...

Tim Plus incoming call response time

I'm afraid, you won't get far with Avaya. The only solution is a software that doesn't use SMDR for these kinds of statistics, e.g. Xima Chronicall as mentioned before. I've added the Help documentation about Announcements (when on the Announcement Tab in IP Office Manager push the Help button...

VMPro alarms 2-5 minutes late, or not at all

Try to add an alarm which fires a call flow with a mail action. That way you can compare the time the mail is sent with the time the alarm was scheduled.

SIP REG: extn NULL not created or cm_extn invalid...

It is an Avaya Communicator softphone, though, so the IP Office should automagically create the extension when logging in. Last week i did an upgrade from R9.0 SP8 to R9.1 SP6 to be able to use the communicator in stead of the IP Office Video Softphone. This is are the versions of the system at...

Hi, Today, I was deploying a site with 25 Avaya Communicator softphones, when all of a sudden I got an error: Incorrect extension or password All users have valid Power User licenses and are Communicator enabled. Avaya One-X Telepresence with Chonicall Dashboard

AFAIK Chronicall doesn't work well with softphones. I thougt a handset was a requirement, but can't find it on their support site. You'd better check with their support, they're good and respond very fast. http://www.ximasoftware.com/contact_us.php

Personal CLI of doesn't work user after upgrde to 9.0 972

You can add an i to the incoming call routes too. e.g. ICR > Calling number = 123456789i In System Monitor additional random characters are sent as CLI, this causes the provider to change the CLI.
